Mattie was one of the best singers and musicians. A great friend to me and all who knew him and someone who has made many people happy with his lovely personality and the kindness he has shown to everyone who knew him. He was one in a million.

recently realized my ancestry goes back to waterford city in the 18th century. from "the irish loop" area of newfoundland(not far from st. john's). its amazing how much the accent is the same. there is a band here called Dungarven. what does it mean?
