I decided to become an amazon influencer. This will help support the channel at no extra cost to you. Links to products used to build this custom above ground irrigation are in the description. Thank you for your support!

The spikes are on Amazon got 4 for about 12 bucks. The other components are from the irrigation supply section at any big box like lowes or Home Depot. My Home Depot has the better selection. Will do a more detailed video on this setup in the future. Thanks for watching !

Hey, bud. Another question for ya. Since taking possession of this Bermuda lawn in March, all I've done is mow it once per week and have learned it's too tall, usually 4-5 inches when I cut it and typically cutting it to 3.5-4 inches. This past Friday, I mowed it the lowest I have yet at 3.5 inches and it obviously looked 75% brown afterward. Am I thinking correctly to keep taking it a half inch lower with each mow and mowing more often like I've been reading? I guess I'm trying to get it to 2-2.5 inches without seriously harming it in this near-record GA heat right now. Thank you!

Ideally you would mow it down below where your intended height. If you want to mow at 2.5 inches then mow it down to 2 inches and then maintain it at 2.5. This may require twice per week mowing. If you are not getting much rain and can’t irrigate then it would be best to wait before adjusting your height of cut. Mine needs to be lowered but I’m not doing it right now for sure. Good luck!

how much sun does your front yard receive? is it shade tolerant?
@lanieroutside

@@brittanyharley4617 most of the front yard is full sun except around the edges and a narrow strip that runs in front of a big natural area. The shaded areas struggle as Bermuda is not shade tolerant at all. I plan to raise the tree canopy’s up where I can this off season to help for next year.

Man, no offense, but you give a good amount of bad advice and the lawn, compared to the lawns of people you like to trash that use products you dismiss, looks incredibly average. I’m in Georgia, use a rotary mower, still only water twice a week and with the “crap products” you dismiss the lawn looks a lot better.

Go watch other channels and spend your money on fancy products that they sell you. I will keep doing what I do. I’m proud of my landscape👍
