My grandmother passed away when I was 4. I was there and saw the whole thing and have diagnosed PTSD from it. I was told my whole life it was a heart attack until finally i got old enough and was told she choked to death AFTER i gave her water cuz she was coughing. So i blame myself A LOT and I'm 26 now and i still grieve like crazy. Especially when you think it's your own fault. But thank you for sharing your experience and just showing your love for your mom. She seemed like an incredible woman and thank you for being you!

My mommy passed in January on the 2nd which is my sisters birthday and it still floors me. It’s been 8 months but I can’t shake the emotions. I hear certain things or see certain movie clips or I’ll be somewhere and she just pops up in my head and I can’t believe she’s not here anymore. I’ll do something or see something and I want to call her and tell her about it but I can’t... I miss her so much. Very much like you I don’t cry in front of my family but I do cry in front of my dad because he’s my father and I can only imagine how he feels because he lost his wife and I can’t imagine how he feels... it’s always going to hurt but it will get better but look at how strong you are because you get up every single day and keep going!

Hey Alonzo, I’ve been watching you for some years. I was going through a phase where I deleted all of social media and stopped watching television. I love watching you so much. You make me laugh and happy. Watching this video, I felt it, your pain. I’m so sorrry for your lost. I wish I had the opportunity to see my great grandmother, the monarch of the family basically, before she had passed. My mom told me a family member had called her and told her she couldn’t breathe and had to wait for the ambulance to come and get her. She was home alone. It was all so sudden for everyone in our family. I haven’t been the same since. I’m just taking it one day at a time, I could move forward and become a better me every day. That’s all she would want from all her loved ones she left behind. The relationship you and your mom have is just so beautiful. I say it in present because she’s your mom and that will never change. Stay positive. I know I may be late and I Know I may not be a subscriber, but I love your videos. Idc if you read it or not. ❤️❤️❤️

I feel you on how you're a private person but you're doing yourself and us as viewers a great pleasure in talking about your mom cause I know she was your world, as my grandmother was for me. She passed 15 years ago and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her or see someone who reminds me of her. Keep her memories and speaking of her and I promise the lost will lessen but the wanting to see/be with her will never go away. Much blessings to you and your family.

I feel this. My mom also passed in 2017, and thinking about how it's already almost been 5 years is unreal to me. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting beside her, talking shit about SOMETHING in that hospital room. I was never too close to my mom, and I held grudges against her that I wish I could go back and apologize for because god, what I wouldn't do to have one more conversation with her. I lost her a month before my 18th birthday and it hits me every day that she didn't get to see her babygirl hit that milestone.

Talk about your mom always. This video came to me when i needed it the most. My family isn't the closest and I just lost my mom on the 26th of October. Watching my mom suffer was so hard, she had stage 4 brain/lung cancer & very few people showed up to her service. I hated hearing I was so strong, because I only held it together in front of people or when people would say " I can't imagine how you must be feeling " it cuts so deep knowing Christmas and her birthday are coming up and she won't be here this year. The best thing that you can do is let her live on through you, I talk to my son about my mother every day. Thank you for sharing how you feel, you don't hear people share similarities or talk about grieving as often as we should. You are so strong, I'm so thankful for your channel.

I am a long time watcher, first time poster here. Alonzo, the grieving process will get easier. The only person I was really attached to was my grandmother. She was my mother. I lost her 9 years ago. I still cry to this day about the loss of her. But, your mother, much like mine, is a part of you. Her teachings, her beliefs, and even a part of her personality is with you. We are not truly dead when we die. We live on through stories and items we cherished that we pass down. Keep talking to her. It will get easier.

@Alonzo Lerone - It was good to hear you talk about your mom. We are the exact same way with grief and keeping it to ourselves. I lost my mom in November of 2018 to breast cancer. My dad was remarried, taking care of his new family since he left us, me being the age of five, and I didn’t have any siblings so it was always just me and my mom, us against the world! She didn’t even date until I was grown and out of the house bc she said she never wanted me to even think I was second place. It doesn’t matter what age you are or what stage of life you’re in, losing a parent is devastating to your heart, a break that will never heal. But, remember when you feel like you are at your weakest that is when you are at your strongest!! Much love to you Alonzo💖 Take one day at a time, don’t pressure yourself, ignore any hate that comes your way, and continue being your best, and live through your mother’s love💜💛

Alonzo, today is my Grandpa's death day and tmmr is his birthday. He passed back in 2019 and I'm just glad he wasn't around during this pandemic bc as you've stated yourself I couldn't imagine not being able to be near him in the hospital or not being allowed in the funeral because of limitations. The truth is we'll never get over our loved ones, and that's okay. It's okay to cry and get emotional, bc that just proves our love will never end. That they are always in our hearts and mind. I guess my point is, continue to be yourself and move forward. Be the same man that your mom loves and continue to be happy with your life. I love watching your videos I binge watch them every day, even the old ones 💕

I lost my daddy when I was 19. I spoke to him on the phone the night before and I go over the conversation in my head over and over. It's been 18 years. He has been gone almost longer than I have been alive and I still have a hard time remembering if we told each other that we loved one another that night on the phone. I can't remember. I can't remember what his voice sounds like anymore. I don't know what it sounds like when he would sing or when he would say my name or what it felt like to be hugged or to hold his hand. The feeling of wanting to know you are loved by your parents, never goes away. Keep talking about her. Keep loving her. Until the circle ends, because she loves you until the circle ends and the circle never ends! Never. So that love is forever. That's what I say to my babies. So when a parent says "they love you this much" and they put their arms together in the shape of a circle... ❤️

The 37 ppl who unliked this, why are you even here? You are so insensitive and heartless if you can’t understand how this man feels and what he’s going through. This is why he doesn’t like sharing his personal feelings and life online because of ppl like you but you want him to make content. Alonzo you very loved and appreciated for what you do for us on here and I pray you don’t let these ungrateful despicable ppl get to you. Much love from Arkansas ❤️🙏🏾❤️

Every time I watch your videos that you talk about your mom in, I absolutely lose it. I lost my dad when I was 14 and he was 47.. so while I won't say "I understand," because I know I can never feel exactly what you're (or anyone else) feeling, I can say I know how it feels to lose a parent. I am so sorry for your and your family's loss, and I pray that you all can have *some* peace in knowing she's no longer suffering- and I know that's cliché to say, but it's not much anyone can say to someone going through the loss of a loved one. If you happen to read this, just know you're not alone. Also, like you said, f^(k those people who tell you to move on and not talk about your mother- she's your mom and you talk about her as much as you possibly can, because whether it makes you laugh or cry, talking about her will bring about the fondest of memories you have with her. I sincerely hope you and your family are doing as okay as you can be.. and as a longtime fan of yours, and a fellow North Carolinian, I just have to say you're awesome; KEEP DOING YOU! 🖤

I agree. People never ask how you’re doing. I think people say my condolences because they don’t know the “right words” to say. Also my Dad passed away 23 years ago. It’s still hard for me at times. Birthdays or certain holidays and mostly just out the blue. It’s just knowing he has missed out on so many major events in our family. Let it out and express yourself nothing worse than holding in your feelings.

I feel you Alonzo. Me and my boyfriends family are about to go on 3years of his sisters death. She was only 24 and passed away due to her seizures..I don’t really talk about it much because it was so painful. I tried to always be really close to her but she also had a bipolar disorder so sometimes she manipulated you in ways it really hurt so it was difficult to be close. At the end before she died I was told she was happy I was getting really close to her and felt like I was a sister to her. It hurts so much knowing she’s gone...what hurts the most though is her little girl who’s only 5 always asks if mommy loved her and we are currently showing her videos of her mommy and she always cries.but we always keep on thinking about her and talking about her crazy antics before she died. We are here for you as well Alonzo! Keep talking about your momma as much as you need. 💕💕
