WATERPARKS - BRAINWASHED (VISUAL) 

Something about Awsten being alone next to a salt rock lamp with "stars" above him, kinda simulating a campfire, made me really emotional. Especially when I saw the frogs hopping around, but I think I know why it hit me so hard. Awsten has expressed this album having deep ties to him overcoming religious guilt. In his book (which you should absolutely read if you haven't) he talks about going to church camp, and some mean kids cutting the strings off his guitar while he was there. So now seeing him get to play his guitar with the frogs, a thing he was told symbolized negative/"dirty" things despite being one of his favorite animals, around a sort of campfire vibe absolutely hits me WAY too hard. Not to mention this song being absolutely amazing. I'm smiling so hard my face hurts. Waterparks never fails to amaze me

I don’t know why but this is so pleasing to look at?? The colors, the stars, the warm glow of the light, Awsten’s outfit, and the lil frogs, it makes me feel warm and good, adds to the excitement I had for this release!!!:D

I love all the hearts in the sky that the stars make and the cute little frogs jumping around but most importantly love that beautiful beast playing ukulele next to a salt lamp that looks like a camp fire... can't wait for the other one 🎈🎈🎈
