Yesterday while reading the Bible, the Lord led me to Joel chapters 1, 2, and 3. Ive been saved now for a year, I haven't read the bible completely through yet; (but I am reading and working to correct that). I hadn't read Joel, so this was the first I was reading this. But I was so greatly moved by the Holy Spirit about this. I had just seen a video the day previously by Jason A about biblical events happening in the world, and those same events are written in the chapter the Lord led me to. I keep being led that we need to fast and pray now more than ever. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. The Lord also moved me when reading in the book of Luke. Luke 22:45-46 45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The Lord Jesus has put on my heart that, like his disciples in gethsemane, his church is currently sleeping for sorrow. We must not sleep now in a time such as this. Rise and pray. Lest we enter into temptation. God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
@@friendofgod857 What is wrong with you? I have noticed several of your comments on many people professing Jesus Christ, and you attack them as the devil. There is only one Jesus Christ who died, was buried, and was resurrected to defeat death. No matter what denomination a believer is...true worship is spirit and truth. The Lord rebuke you from attacking brothers and sisters in Christ.
I believe we can certainly relate with Lot at this time... Lord Jesus, our Rock, our Beloved Hope and Glory..... Give us Your Heart, Your strength, Your wisdom, Your courage, and Your divine discernment, for the days are certainly evil and waxing worse. Amen!! Help us to run hard oh Lord our God. Give us push power unto the finish in the name of Jesus. You said when the enemy comes in like a flood, You will lift up a standard against him. I feel like I’m in a mosh pit of evil. It’s everywhere. Liars, thieves, corruption...I literally feel like there are NO decent, honest, good natured people left in this world. Everyone is so selfish, cruel, nasty...empty! And it’s just escalating...where are all the GOOD, loving, giving, caring people? I feel like the rapture happened and I was left behind...😔

Hey bro there is no rapture...I asked the Lord if it were true many years ago and He gave me understanding. Read the word ...all I see is this the wicked and the ungodly are removed from the earth. Read the parable of the tares and the wheat who gets removed first? The Lord's prayer what does Jesus ask? That the father would not take us out of the world but keep us from the evil one. In the book of Revelation it says that Satan will make war against the saints and overcome them. Which saints is he talking about? If we are raptured? Gotta go deeper...why were all the saints of all time being sawed in two boiled in oil etc. And then somehow we are all spared of this suffering? The word says that we are to count it all joy when we share in Christs suffering. This whole rapture doctrine is a deception.
Praise You Lord, Thank You Lord for Pastor Carter, help us please to keep getting up, to keep asking for Your help. To finish the race and be ready and strong for those around us. I love you brothers and sisters, I’m so encouraged by your comments 💕🙏

So is his love! Rejoice in the midst of the sufferings with Christ! We have eternal life who have been saved and washed by the blood of Jesus!
Do not quit God, Our Father, protect us against sickness, danger, abuse, disparities, and discouragement. Fight for and with us. Thank You for hearing us and answering us.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. At times tough esp when those we love need forgiveness... Its not happy skippy until balance sets in :) may God point out all traps to us all . Amen. When I listen quietly, so it is. :)

I have never heard a pastor say something so humble and authentic in my life! This message is anointed and sincere!! The fear of YHWH leads to true knowledge of Him. I thank our almighty God and give him the praise that he alone make sure my roots were planted in deep to withstand many storms but I have faced in my life only Glory worship and praise and you songs belong to the Lord for he is worthy of all and I pray that all my brothers and sisters what experience the same Lord I have experienced to always be there cultivating attending to you and making sure your roots are deep with it a fertile soil next to a river what are leaves do not weather and we produce good fruit in due season this is my prayer to all my brothers and my sisters do not lose faith do not grow weary the stand strong in the Lord and He will attend to you you will give you the strength as he has given to me he has always be and will forever be with us

How I wish there was a pastor like Pastor Conlon or his predecessor Pastor Wilkerson near me. A while back I viewed or listened online to all the churches sermons within 3 towns around me and found nothing but church lite. When I finally found ONE church with a pastor with a powerful and uncompromising message locally I went to that church only to find out that the pastor had quit and his previous weeks sermon that I had just listened to the day prior on their website was his last. Their youth pastor tried his best to fill in but he was very inexperienced. I'm not looking for a rock/rap concert or prosperity gospel I want TRUTH!

I love Carter Conlon. A powerful message as always. He says here " don't make any promises to God because you can't keep them" I'm curious what are some people's opinions on a new Christian (myself) who foolishly prayed a prayer i'd read online about quitting smoking that ended with... "I covenant in the Name of (Jesus) and before these witnesses [get two witnesses to your prayer] that I will never purchase tobacco or smoke again, or profane Your holy temple, or blaspheme the Name of the Most High. Amen." Well i was only quitting smoking - not because i wanted to - but because the church i went to said that i could only be saved and baptised if i quit smoking. Anyway I feel like I quit smoking under duress and really regret having said that prayer. If i end up smoking again what might be the Biblical implications of that? Thanks
Ask the HOLY Spirit of the Lord to help you quit don't go to men for advice seek the Lord your God in all things! I smoked weed for almost 10 years and tried everything. Only when I told the Lord he can have everything and asked him to give me Grace to obey him was the Spirit given to overcome this addiction. The Lord gave me a fire in my heart to hate the sin I was in and will never go back as I do not wish to grieve the Holy Spirit. Look up the ministry by Michael Chriswell relentless heart. @@sarahbell4344 Hey Sarah, thanks for the response :) though im not talking about sin, im talking about a promise/covenant. I don't think smoking a cigarette is any more sinful than drinking a coffee with a sugar in it. However the church i went to convinced me that I had to stop smoking to be saved... I now realise thats not true and regret having said that prayer because i enjoy smoking the same as others might enjoy a cup of coffee and I don't think either have to do with salvation. I am however concerned with the implications of saying the word "covenant" in a prayer, how foolish is it to use such words etc? P.s Derek Prince is great, have read a couple of his books and listened to many youtube vids. He says specifically that "compulsive smoking is usually demonic" not that smoking in and of itself is demonic.
@@whiteninja3966 Thanks for the input. When the Holy Spirit came and convicted me of my sin i was willing and able to quit drinking, quit fornication, quit smoking weed... I was CONVICTED of all these things and could no longer enjoy them. Smoking tobacco was fine however, no convicting from the Holy Spirit... it was only when i went to find a church to baptised me that the elders and minister guilt tripped me about the smoking and refused to baptised me until I quit... so I only quit because i thought I HAD to to be a Christian. I really enjoy smoking and miss it but i havent had a single cigarette in over 5 weeks... but my question isn't about cigarettes its about saying the word "covenent" in a prayer... "covenant in the Name of (Jesus) and before these witnesses [get two witnesses to your prayer] that I will never purchase tobacco or smoke again, or profane Your holy temple, or blaspheme the Name of the Most High. Amen." After I said that i got an instant pang of regret and thought I remembered that Jesus said don't make covenants??
@@friendofgod857 We wrestle not against flesh and blood....all flesh and blood should be seen as precious. If you are not trying to rea h into the darkness to guide others to Jesus, then why are you here? I have seen your remarks. You are your own enemy, but not ours. To those of us who see and hear the truth, you are simply lost. You told someone to see Jesus in an earlier remark. Go look in the mirror, deep inside yourself, and then you will see you are just as much a sinner as the rest. Then get down on your knees, and pray with your heart to have the Holy Spirit come in and heal all that pain that is killing you. Give it all to Him, and then trust Him completely to guide you to the truth.
