I hope you enjoy this original creation, which is a bit different from usual sort of video.
When I was listening to Einaudi's "In a Time Lapse" album for the first time, I was driving up the road to work. "Waterways" began playing as soon as I reached the Northern Ireland Causeway Coastal Route. I couldn't have timed it better with the sea and cliffs as a backdrop! Einaudi's music is beautiful at the best of times and this particular track stirred some specific ideas that I wanted to put into some sort of story.
I knew it was possible to create what I saw and so thanks to my girlfriend who kindly agreed to help me out as an actress, I was able to form something physical which would allow me share the story I saw behind Waterways. Also every country has its beautiful spots and I hope this goes to part promote some of the beautiful scenery of Northern Ireland. The list of locations is stated below.
Hopefully you enjoy it. I haven't done this before and I am well aware in places it looks quite amateur. It's certainly nothing special on the grand scheme of music videos so for that I apologise!
