Really nice to see a slower interpretation of this, one that gets all the notes to speak clearly with discernible rhythms. Having said that, though, I think it then ends up sounding like "harp music" rather than the primitive fire dance it could sound like. An interesting trade-off. You have a wonderful sound, and I really like your room and microphone setup!
Thank you for your thoughtful comments! You are absolutely correct, I am performing this at a slower tempo than what is dictated in the score. It is interesting to observe how that alters the expression slightly, to more warmth than heat. This video was recorded at a beautiful historic home in my area. I definitely would love to record there again!
