Thank you! So in the fall, you'll definitely have way less crowds and flatter lightning in the morning--this isn't a bad thing though! The gorge looks really wonderful and mysterious in that early-morning blue hour. As for afternoon, you won't get the sunbeams piercing the gorge like you do in June, but the light can really make the foliage colors pop. The only downside is expect LOTS of crowds regardless of the day of the week: fall colors brings quite a few tourists to Watkins Glen.
