this is a song that means a lot to me, and one i had trouble figuring out how to say for many years. hope it connects with you. shout out to real ones who listen long enough for me to start rapping at the end :) mike dempsey, jess dunlap and i shot this video in namibia on the same trip we did the advanced placement video. after months of searching i was able to get in touch with an awesome sand sculptor named morgan rudluff, who built that beautiful sand castle in mike's backyard. we had to get 5 tons of sand dumped there from a quarry. this song and video represent a lot of the things i've been trying to focus on in my own life: to never stop growing, never stop being curious and never stop doing the things that make you happy. much love friends.

I think all these comments show how well received and meaningful watsky is to all of us. Alot of us have been here for a long time and are watching and listening (And even reading) everything you do. Wastky means so much to me, i used to watch each video dozens of times just to make sure i got every word right and made sure the lyrics sunk in.. This is another masterpiece that will be added to my playlist. I can't emphasize enough how much watsky has actually changed my life.. Just as a person id watch his videos and it would make me think and grow as a young adult.. Now that i'm an adult i can explore the change with watsky.. listen on a new level and understand and love each video that much more. I discovered you at the begging of my 10 year relationship with my now ex husband. We would wait enthusiastically for a new release and this song is ironic and very appropriate for me. We got divorced a few months ago and its been fucking soul wrenching. Thank you for this. all these songs evolve as we listen to them, with enough catchy motifs so we get hooked pretty much instantly, but enough subtilities that we keep looping it to try and fully grasp something we didn't yet. it's always a pleasure to experience a new vibe from this channel.

good sir, this is a work of genius. the first two verses draw out vulnerability then the 3rd resonates with it intensely.(my experience) i would ask any who do not like this song to listen once more(at least) and listen to his lyrics and delivery. everyone has felt a form of the pain he vocalizes. then fights base petty emotions(also an everyone thing) and still forces himself to be accepting. this, to me, is one of the perfect songs.

I've pretty much been going through my 20s with your music, and it's been challenging at times to get used to a sound that's so different from, say, Cardboard Castles and All you can do, which remain two of my all time favourite hip hop albums.
