Police say suspect Darrell Brooks intentionally drove into the crowd at the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing at least five and injuring another 48 including 18 children. Officials said Brooks was involved in a domestic incident just minutes before and will face five counts of intentional homicide. Authorities said there was no evidence suggesting this was an act of terrorism.

Legally speaking terrorism is described to have a religious or political motivation or affiliation with terrorist groups. They will likely find that he does fall into the category of a terrorist but right now they don't have the evidence to make the connection. Just because you kill a bunch or people, that act alone does not meet the standard of terrorism by law.

Our state government has completely screwed the pooch. There are too many violent criminals with open cases and pending felony charges walking free. I personally witnessed an individual stand before a judge in Kenosha, not Judge Shroeder, and plead not guilty to battery, aggravated burglary and theft while out on bond after being issued a CITATION for felony arson. Thankfully the judge was not beholden to the state DA, and said individual did not walk out of the courtroom that day.

I definitely question the capacity of individuals who are already out there and discounting the notion that this could be categorized as an act of Terrorism. I heard him (Chief) make reference that there is no information to indicate it being tied to terrorism-- But you cannot tell me that this individual had no intention of creating Terror in the hearts of those in attendance AND ALL OF US in the public that were presented with the public viewing of a community event. I love law enforcement and respect what they do--- BUT I WILL QUESTION when a member of investigating law enforcement is ALREADY laying such claim to the intention of a convicted felon.
