Hey Paifu, i have couple of question i need answered for a 35 sapper old guard run. If you dont want to answer some then feel free to ignore it. 1) what wave should i start making the camping spot (specificly la ferme at the wood ledge) 2) when a zapper comes and attacks, what should i do? Should i back off and risk barricade destroyed or what? 3) what server region do you play in mostly? 4) how do you handle 2 runners coming from 2 different direction when clutching? 5) are you able to give me some new clutch routes in la ferme? (Exclude all the route you have shown in most of la ferme clutches) Thanks for taking the time to read this.
im not him but i can answer some of the questions 1. just make defenses as early as possible, if your team is decent you wont really need it till wave 25 (on la ferme) but just have it ready as soon as possible. 2. it depends on a lot of things; how many zappers there are, are there runners, bombers or igniters in the horde, etc. just use your best judgment (which will come with time). you'll begin to notice when something isnt saveable, and making a decision in those quick moments is crucial. i think you just need to experiment via trial and error to figure out what is safe and what isn't, which basically means throw yourself at them as much as possible (with mindfulness ofc, dont just walk into a zapper) unless ur on an old guard run. 4. if two runners are coming at u from different directions, you can look to see which one is coming first. get ur sabre ready with the underhand stab, stab the first one, quickly look back and twirl the other runner. twirling just means moving to its side before it tackles you so that it runs around you in circles. look it up or ask how to do it in the discord server, its super useful. if they're coming at you at the same time, the only real possibliity is to stab with the underhand, taking out one and super quickly flicking to the other one while you're still stabbing. keep in mind though, sometimes luck is just against you and you cant win in certain situations. ALSO, you can push towards the runner that will tackle you first, buying you enough time to stab it, turn around and stab the other one as it's coming. 5. for clutching on la ferme, the best options (not super hard ones either) are the figure-eight and circle strat, both of which are guarding the side (depending on how you look at it, its basically just the field straight in front of the catwalk on la ferme). for the circle strat, you just circle between the top right tree and top left tree, moving clockwise (looking at the field from say, the cannon or the catwalk). you want to make sure to PAY attention for runners, don't kill shamblers until runners are done spawning. be wary of silent runners too, there's a bug where some runners just spawn silently with no footsteps or growling, so you really need to be paying attention. for the figure-eight strat, you pretty much only use it if the circle path is congested and unsafe. the figure-eight starts from the top-left tree and you walk towards the windmill, circle around it, and then make a beeline to the top-right tree (top-right is near the river and the wall, top left tree is between the windmill and the top-right tree. I hope this was kinda helpful, but just know that kiting is a dying art. The devs don't like kiters and are actively trying to prevent it. They can't completely eliminate kiting but they can make it ineffective.
tbh i would be impressed but awhile ago when everyone oofed a officer (that is not u) also did a clutch as well in the same map but still that is really impressive that you could manage to do something like that
