Wave running with a kayak

This is the first wave action in my new kayak, 14-foot Current Designs Vision 140. This is the 3rd time out with it, the previous trips were calm with no wave action. This time, more boats traffic, more surface actions. It was after the waves, I stopped to put on the spray skirt. Then I paddled for a bit more...somewhere after this the camera battery died, just before the surf action at the sandbar.
