@@alexandram2486 dominique (the actress playing waverly) always says the character is bi though: "That’s why I was so excited when I found out that Waverly was bi-curious or bisexual at this point. I actually didn’t know that Waverly was bisexual and I read the episode when Nicole Haught came into the bar and I called Emily and said ‘Oh my god whoever wrote this scene is an absolute genius.’ Not only does it bring another layer to Waverly as a character, it’s also just a fantastic thing to address and showcase, and what a wonderful way to do it in such a fun, light and beautiful way. As with any character, there’s development that happens naturally but I was pretty sure of who Waverly was from the get go." www.thetvjunkies.com/queer-representation-tv-dominique-provost-chalkley-katherine-barrell/ I was confused from watching the show too bc in the show she only says gay but dominque says she's bi and i mean she plays the character so she should know?
@@ripmyfictionalfriends 1st, that article is from 2016, I think something said at a latter date holds more weight. 2nd, that might be the first read since at that point she had a bf, but people can find out they are only attracted to the same sex even after dating people of the opposite sex. 3rd, something shown in the show holds more weight than something said outside of it, especially if it contradicts something explicitly stated.
@@ripmyfictionalfriends I think that BTS was of the 1st season and i think she was bi curious at that point but during the 2nd season so on I think she realised she was just a lesbian in general I think anyway
