WAVES & DOWNGRADED MSO U659 is seen here responding C1 (non-emergent with an altered response) to a medical emergency (shooting with injuries) in SMFR 1’s (MCEMS 13’s/MSO 2’s) zone with ALPHA07, DIST13, E312, and other MSO units. ALPHA07, DIST13, E312, and other MSO units responded but is not featured in this film. ALPHA07, DIST13, and E312 arrived on scene but staged near-by awaiting further instructions. Before the film the scene was insecure and all units were advised to respond emergent with SMFR & MCEMS to stage in a near area close-by. U659 was responding emergent but the scene was called secure and under control with U659 downgrading to non-emergent (altered response) during the film which could be seen. U659 did arrive on scene. Once the scene was secured SMFR & MCEMS moved in for patient contact with x1 patient having a GSW. SMFR & MCEMS stabilized the patient and ALPHA07 transported one yellow patient (I could be wrong) to Manatee with the option of MSO escorting. DIST13 and E312 cleared shortly after and returning available back to their quarters. ALPHA07 was dispatched since ALPHA13 was out on a call at the time and E311 along with BAT3 remained available. Once transport arrived the scene was cleared and MSO units remained on scene for pending and further investigations for the cause of the shooting.
