I also attempted suicide when I was 11 or twelve. I tried hanging myself but the chain snapped and I fell to the ground. I believe God had a part to play in that in one way or another. A few years later when I was 16 I had given up hope again and didn't want to be alive anymore so I decided to take my life after staring at myself in the bathroom mirror late at night for who knows how long. Then I walked out of the bathroom and at that very moment I heard a song on the radio with the lyrics "Just stay a while". There is no way God didn't do that. I didn't end up coming to God until I was 22 and it's amazing to think back on all those times and realizing He was always there even when I didn't believe in Him.
ROBERT! .. I feel like I'm reading a story of my own life reading your comment.. We should connect! When I was 11, maybe 12, I too tried to hang myself, but with a thick metal wire. I had been going through bullying and abuse at home/school and I knew God, but felt so alone. Before I did so, I audibly told God I was sorry and that I knew he was good, but I didn't think he could save me. Then I went through with it (I was home alone). As I began to see the light and lose consciousness, my last thought to myself was, "I am all alone." Then, I heard in a booming voice, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. And the thick wire snapped. I found True HOPE that Day and now I have a Facebook group, You Are Not Alone: Choose Hope (page in the making), and RU-vid account/ Podcast in the making, to encourage people to do the same and never give up 🙏🏼🕊️🤍 Psalm 18 God is SO GOOD!! 💖💖🙏🏼

I did this a few months ago to the place where I was robbed and shot in 2004. I felt my life slipping that night. But then I prayed something. Tho I wasn’t an obedient son to Father, I asked him “plz don’t let satan take my soul”. He heard me and I made it to see this day to share my testimony until that day I can’t anymore. This has blessed me so much. As someone who has taken over 80 sleeping pills in an attempted suicide and never falling asleep I know GOD is real and Jesus loves us so much. If they could cast the sickness from everyone who came to them then how could you possibly believe that they could ever get sick themselves? Could they not just cast it out as they did for others? Well read Acts 2:44-45. So understand that the apostles were first disciples since a disciple is a student who learns from a teacher. This explains someone like myself since I am not an apostle who possesses the power to perform miracles. I am a disciple, a child of God who is learning from Jesus my teacher. So if you are following someone at some church, ministry or wherever then you definitely have fallen for the devil’s great deception since you mistakenly believe that this someone is supposedly a person of God. To prove my point I will give you three warning signs that you probably have missed? Donations, sickness and starting a church or ministry. First, anyone who is seeking donations is simply proving that they really do not know God at all. They are clearly proving that they do not believe that God will provide for their needs. A disciple of Jesus knows that God is aware of everything that is happening in their life so there would be no need for them to seek donations or to sell books. Most do not understand that God separates His true children from this evil fallen world and God will not allow them to earn a living the way that this evil world does since their trust is now solely in God. When I have a financial need God simply puts it into someone’s heart to send money my way without me ever having to ask someone for it. This is exactly how it worked with me since God would simply relate to me when He desired that I needed to help someone financially. So people will just contact me out of the blue and tell me that God instructed them to send me a financial blessing the same way that God has me do it for others. Second, does the person ever get sick? A true disciple knows that sin is the cause of all sickness in this evil world and that sickness is of the devil. They also have learned how to overcome sin so the devil can no longer touch them with his sicknesses. There is no sickness with God, there never was and there never will be. Sickness is not a blessing nor is God allowing you to be sick in order to display His glory as some foolishly believe. Sickness is a curse and it is a warning sign that you are ignoring the commands of God and yes you can pass this curse onto your children since everyone is born in sin and ignorance. Read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 to prove my point. Most believers fail to understand that overcoming sin and sickness is the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind and I can testify that is definitely possible to overcome both since I am someone who is living that life. Third, if we are to learn from Jesus and He is our one and only teacher then why would an apostle or a disciple ever need to start a church or a ministry? Name one church that any original apostle ever started? An apostle or disciple should be explaining how you can learn scripture directly from Jesus and then their job would be done. There would be no need for them to ever start a church or a ministry. So what are most believers missing in scripture? Well they fail to understand that Jesus is our one and only teacher. You do not need me nor any other mortal person to teach you scripture and you will not learn God’s actual truth from any preacher at some church or here on the internet. God is Spirit and He dwells inside anyone who will believe in Him. You learn God’s truth by reading scripture alone in your room and by praying to Him for wisdom to comprehend what you are reading. You must strive to reach the place where you can hear God in your thoughts since His Spirit now dwells inside of you. This is how you begin to follow the will of God for your life and you will never be able to follow His guidance until you understand how to test the Spirits as instructed in I John 4. “Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:21-24 NKJV “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” John 6:45 NKJV “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples,” Acts of the Apostles 17:24 NLT “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 ESV “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? In the beginning of 2020 I was driving to work and heard in my right ear so clearly God said in a loving but stern tone “ DONT YOU GET IT ?! I suffered from bi-polar in my 20s. One day when really depressed the spirit of prophesy came upon me and the Lord said "I say, I say, I say unto you; I Am The Lord...and I Love You!" Wow, that's sooo beautiful!!! I had an encounter with Him recently during my quiet time with Him. I was lead to 2 Corthians chapter 6 where God told me in His Word that He'l be a Father to me. I cried like a baby when He told me that. Because just like you my family doesn't care about me either nor do I think they really love me. So thanks for sharing this Jesus loves everyone and He's no respector of persons what He did for me He'll gladly do for you too. :) I'm 19 now but ever since I was 8 years old leading up till now I wanted and attempted many times to commit suicide but for some reason He wouldn't let me. I kept hearing a voice that said "Don't do it, Don''t do it, you have purpose."

Made me cry. I quit my job because my 13 year old Autistic son needed me. He was suicidal and couldnt say it. It broke me. Huge financial cut but It was worth helping him out. Prayers for him. It wasnt the first time he had thoughts. Its totally heartbreaking. He is too young for that. All the changes. These kids world were flipped upside down. Praise Jesus, he is finally back in school and has a smile on his face when he comes home. He is sleeping and eating again.

Lately there has been many contemplating suicide. I’ve been getting calls about this from friends and my wife how someone they have run into has this on their mind and we pray on the spot. Suicide of course isn’t new. The devil continues to use his same old tricks because they’ve been working but not when they are presented to us, the children of The Most High. We are going to take these lives back by force and put up a fight with the enemy on behalf of the Kingdom of God with God’s angles on our sides. This was a reminder of my life, long time ago after my mother suicide. I felt as if she left me in a abusive marriage by myself and I try to join her. But God had another plan for me. And shortly after that , that is when my life was transform and I became the father child.

Awesome song. My grandson & granddaughter saved their stepdad when he tried to hang himself. (They were 17& 20). Since then my grandson has talked several friends out of taking their lives. My granddaughters college roommate tried suicide twice while living with her. No coincidence that both grandchildren know the Lord. Such young ages to have to experience what they have. I do feel God used them to draw them closer to him. I give Jesus all the glory and am so thankful for their salvation.

The man is of the devil and you certainly are blinded to truth. Scripture relates that only a few of us will be saved and that the majority of people will perish in the lake of fire. The reason why this will be proven to be absolutely true is because the majority of believers possess very little knowledge in regards to God and scripture. They are actually deceived souls who are blinded to the fact that they have chosen to follow the teachings of mortal men instead of following Jesus as He commanded. Most are foolishly believing that if someone has a large following then that person or ministry must certainly be of God and these believers fail to understand that even Jesus only had about 120 disciples at the time that He departed this earth. “And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty.)” Acts 1:15 NKJV “And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” Romans 9:27-28 ESV Realize that the less knowledge that you possess in the word of God then the more access the devil has to infiltrate your thoughts with his lies and deceptions. So if you are someone who has never been sanctified in truth then you are probably allowing the devil to deceive you. This is why believers need to stay away from RU-vid and Facebook since they are filled with thousands of false teachers and ignorant kids who will fill your head with the devil’s lies and deceptions. Yes I have writings and videos on these sites but they are simply there to relate my testimony about how Jesus still heals and how we need to go directly to Him. They are there to help explain that it is sin that brings sickness into our lives and that it is possible to overcome both. They are there to reveal how easily believers are being led astray but my videos and writings are definitely not there for you to follow me however. Now just look at everyone else on the other hand. They are desiring that you come to their church, religion or even their channel on the internet regularly and they are asking you to donate your money. So why is this nonsense so wrong? “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:8 NKJV Many believers overlook that every messenger that was sent from God could heal EVERYONE that came to them for healing. Not just some here and there but everyone so do not believe the nonsense that the apostles were believers who could also get sick. If they could cast the sickness from everyone who came to them then how could you possibly believe that they could ever get sick themselves? Could they not just cast it out as they did for others? Read Acts 5:14-16 and Acts 28:8-9 to prove my point. This is what being an apostle meant since apostle means one who is sent, a messenger and God’s messengers do not need to seek donations. Why? Well read Acts 2:44-45. So understand that the apostles were first disciples since a disciple is a student who learns from a teacher. This explains someone like myself since I am not an apostle who possesses the power to perform miracles. I am a disciple, a child of God who is learning from Jesus my teacher. So if you are following someone at some church, ministry or wherever then you definitely have fallen for the devil’s great deception since you mistakenly believe that this someone is supposedly a person of God. To prove my point I will give you three warning signs that you probably have missed? Donations, sickness and starting a church or ministry. First, anyone who is seeking donations is simply proving that they really do not know God at all. They are clearly proving that they do not believe that God will provide for their needs. A disciple of Jesus knows that God is aware of everything that is happening in their life so there would be no need for them to seek donations or to sell books. Most do not understand that God separates His true children from this evil fallen world and God will not allow them to earn a living the way that this evil world does since their trust is now solely in God. When I have a financial need God simply puts it into someone’s heart to send money my way without me ever having to ask someone for it. This is exactly how it worked with me since God would simply relate to me when He desired that I needed to help someone financially. So people will just contact me out of the blue and tell me that God instructed them to send me a financial blessing the same way that God has me do it for others. Oh how beautiful Marcus!!!!! I lost the love of my life April 6, 2014. He hung himself and I found him around 3 a.m. Thankfully I'm saved because that is what got me through. I went to my cousin's in Utah for a few months and I also needed to see a trauma specialist in SLC. My heart goes out to anyone who is left with the emptiness and the guilt of always wondering if they could have said or done anything to avoid it.

This song really helps me when I'm going through it my sister committed suicide 5 years ago and it has been the most painful thing I've ever experienced but the Lord is near the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit he binds up their wounds.
This song takes me back to 2012 when I was in such deep depression. I knew church but I didn’t know Jesus. I remember praying to my deceased father because I felt like he was my guardian angel because I was close to him and he passed away in 2003. The Lord in that moment reminded me of something my grandmother had told me when I was little. “Pray in Jesus name” so my prayers to be healed went from my earthly father to my Heavenly Father and I seeked Him every day until one day He supernatural healed me and this blanket of peace came over me. The Bible says the peace beyond understanding. It was indeed supernatural and that moment made me realize that I could have a real relationship with the father. It’s not religion, it’s relationship. This video brought tears to my eyes because if I would had took my life then, I would had missed out on the many blessings He has given me ever since and the reason why I had to go through what I went through. 😭🙌🏽He so good to us.

I attempted suicide 13 years ago. I almost succeeded. When I got out of the hospital I struggled for a few years then God brought me to my knees. I gave my life to Him that day. Yes ever now and then I hit a little hiccup but life has never been better. He had plans for me and I hope that I am pleasing Him daily by being the best person I can be. I thank God I am saved.
