Linus Spacehead is one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard. Loved this band so much in the late 2000s-early 2010s and never had the chance to research them being a busy adult Thank you for this! 🙏🏾
Animal Collective, Wavves, Phantogram and a bunch of other indie pop remind me of living in South Beach and meeting a few really good friends for a few years back in 2009-2011 😭
I had tickets to see Wavves a couple weeks ago, but didn't know much about them. Thank you for making and sharing this video -- It was an awesome show, but the experience was even better knowing more about where they came from. I wish we had videos of this depth for every band.
Had the pleasure of meeting him and getting my wavvves LP signed, we had drinks at a local bar after his show. Had a laugh about his disappeared interview of his while he was tripping balls.
I read that Wavves dad had one of those SWEET boomer jobs where he wrote jingles for the hershey company. Imagine catching a steady check to go into the office and play tiddly winks on a piano for a few hours
Reupload from a previous channel of yours? I recall watching this at least 2+ years ago. I searched wavves doc because I couldn't figure out how to find the old live band clip or remember the l name. Glad your vid/channel is back up if prev copyright striked or something. No way I first watched this earlier this year or even last year (your channel created 2022). Good look 🍷
You said that youd put the Wavves and FIDLAR beef video in the description, but its not there Wavves and FIDLAR formed me into who I am. Got into them as i was coming of age about over a decade ago
I loved their early two albums because it sounded like shite as a compliment. That’s so punk. To me this is lo-fi. “Lo-fi” chill hop shit ain’t lo-fi. That sounds way too hi-fi to my punk ears. Nathan forever.
