A little bit of common Sense. Finishing lines are not on the same level on all the 4 sides. Trying to dip the die on the wax just up to the finishing lines just won't work. If you try dipping the die again for the second time just to cover the uncovered part will create another layer of wax thus compromising the intended uniform wax thickness on the die.
What about placing cervical wax and the additional lingual waxing? Can you explain please why this is prefered than the normal waxing for the PFM crowns?
We usually use cervical wax for cases like full contoured crowns. And this technique is preferred than the traditional waxing methods is because is saves a lot of time.
No, that depends on the wax you use. Renfert dipping waxes have a melting range from 76 - 82 °C and a recommended working temperatur of 89 - 91 °C (GEO Dip) respectively 90 - 92 °C (rewax).
