I never heard this artist before, but i just let YT play once in a while. Just as this track starts, i asked for something i could relate to, a teaching..SOMEthing... haha EVERYTHING matches in this one! Like that kind of lyric you could send to your entire family; THIS was how i felt! Now you've got music on it ENJOY! :D Great track. Great story and teaching.
lol wax was a vibe for me years ago i remember i used to get blasted out of my mind driving around at night banging that scrublife. i dont miss them days going to jail and just being a trainwreck all the time but it had its moments
I wish wax blew up. He is better than 98.8% of famous rappers up right now. Thinking about this seriously makes me sad. Sometimes people who are are most deserving of it just don’t have the luck to make it to the top. My dad is a scientist, with a double PhD. He got his first in Russia, and second in Canada by the time he was 33. He even developed a drug in the Soviet Union, before communism broke up, that helped cosmonauts conserve their muscle mass in zero gravity. Since he did this during communist times, he barely got recognition or financial compensation- because everything you did in Russia before the late 80s was for country and patriotism, not self gain. That’s the reason he moved us the second that the boarders opened. Unfortunately he spent his entire lifetime trying to recreate his early success here, in a country that would recognize it, with no luck. Now he is 63 and about to retire with nothing to his name but that early work in Russia, that he didn’t get a dime for and never will. I know it’s kind of a rant, but life is a bitch sometimes. It’s 2% talent, skill and charisma and 98% luck. I’ve been a long time fan and wax is top 15 best rappers in my eyes. Unfortunately he didn’t have the luck and most people have never heard of him.
The general lack of notoriety Wax gets even after all these years is probably the most irrefutable proof there has ever been that this whole fucking world is doomed, I'll be checkin for E.O.M. in that flyin limousine when the sky starts to fall. R.I.P. to a real one.
How many offs can you fuck Yes I'm awesome and such Dope with a pen Most hope Before I start The barrage would just end I'm not retiring yet I'm just gearing up I'm here to clutch First place in some rap Olympics lyrics cup I'm dear to muck Merely my dear I'm gearing up Rearing up Raising some dust in air Just to fill my lungs I feel a drum Then strike some fear in the numb Part of ya brain Pardon my rage Pardon my ways Pardon my phase Pardon the maze I made amazing I'm blazing like Cajun in laymen's terms for you to take in what I'm baking. Your not mistaken I'm almost shaping your patience Doing Half way what I want with these words There in here waiting Sitting in the midst Spitting like a mist Sipping on a bit A liqueur richer quicker than the last shot I got the proof Double the cash Lets max out I've payed my dues Just point me to straight To the cash route
Amazing song. I think a lot of people relate more to it now than they did 12 years ago. Even though he might not feel this way anymore, just like he said in Liquid courage, it's just some shit he did. I used to have this as a ringtone so its downloaded on my phone and Spotify still plays it. 🥲
