Being an old guy of 66, I'd never heard of Katie C's Waxahatchee before this morning, when I read her blurb in an LA Times article about the 50th anniversary of Joni Mitchell's seminal Blue album... But, curious about who this person might be, here I am enjoying a down-home living room concert. Thanx!
Considered buying this guitar (Fender Performer Mustang) but couldn't keep it in tune when I tried it at the store. Seeing her have to tune it after every song when just playing soft chords makes me not regret buying it. Anyway, thanks for uploading. Hope you'll do the next few ones as well .
Thank you for posting this. I missed this in 2020. Thank you Katie for making the music for us. Cerulean Salt is my favorite album currently, it really triggers a lot of my emotions of dealing with life around the same ages, amd some stuff in my early 20's.
I"m seeing her in Boston on Oct. 16 - first concert since the pandemic. Cerulean Salt is so, so good, but it's also soporific for me. It helps me fall asleep when I'm flying.
Love this album Can’t wait to see you in Cleveland next spring as COVID is teaching me patience. Thank you for the awesome intimate interim performance!!
