I just did this 10 minutes ago and it worked absolutely wonderfully! I got a deep rich creamy light brown (one orange crayon, three white and the rest brown). I even use my Roccoesque letter 'B' wax stamp on the tops. #fastidious
Those look GREAT! I've seen other videos were the wax looks horrible! lol I will try this for aging some beer with caps because I don't wana shell out for a corkign machine. So your ratio is 2 glue sticks PER crayon, correct? Awsome video.
Did you add a pull tab to it? Thanks for the great video. I use filament tape. 1/4 inch from Amazon. It’s easy to grip and resists high heat and doesn’t break when you try to pull it.
Not too bad, I have been able to peel most of it off by hand, Sometimes a knife is needed. I also had some cracking happen at this ration might want to add a few glue sticks. Maybe 25 glue to 10 crayon. I might start putting a string on the cap or dental floss while dipping, so I can pull and open that way.
