Love this deck! Used to ignore it, probably because I was a beginner still, but now I want it! Loved that 10 of cups, gives me a vibe of getting to the top, of celebrating with loved ones, but also of getting there after many experiences...and your ability to see the rainbow hinging on your angle/way of looking at things...and on having a positive mindset too (the sunlight). Loved the 10 of pentacles as well! 1-2 cards I find rather disturbing, but I can live with that ☺️ Thank you for showcasing it ❤🙏
Wow, my first thought was that it was not my esthetic, but it had me at Empress and Emperor. The most poignant, expressive deck I've seen in ages. What talent the creators have in such simple and at the same time profound presentations!
I adore this deck and agree - I have not been so excited for a deck as I have been this one (especially a modern day deck) in a very long time. It has a very unique energy that stands strong on its own entirely. The artwork is beautiful and the choices for depicting the core meanings of the cards is smart IMO. I even love the thin card stock - which is a surprise considering my preference for thick, art, heavy gsm paper ala the great Il Meneghello. I haven't been able to put this deck down since getting it and I'm lugging it everywhere with me lol. LOVED hearing your thoughts - can't wait to talk with you more about it! BRAVO job as as always my friend with another great video Xx Patrick
Thanx my friend! It is fairly pippish lol so we can def relate hahaha Also I love the thinner card stock too because of pure usability! And at some point my stock snobbism just died hahaha
I've just found you and instantly I love your vibe. You are a very wise lady; hearing you speak about each card is confirmation of this. I've never felt the need to make a comment like this before and I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thank you 🙏
Thanks Kasia for sharing! What a beautiful deck, I love it! I have just purchased the Sacred Feminine Guidance Cards that you recommended on other videos and this deck is being added to my wish list as we speak! Thanks for your great insight, as always xo
@@tarotmap Rewatched this one. Maybe your Black Lily tarot would look nice too? Or another small size oracle? The constellation one? Love it when you play. :)
I walked past a number of lovely decks over the past 6-12 months because my trusted intuition told me so. Decks come along that I do really like and appreciate but I sense there is something else on its way that will really capture my heart and senses. So I wait..... And here it is!! I LOVE this deck! The Way Home Tarot is welcome in *my* home anyday! 😍 And it was created by two Scorpios!! What else can I say!! 😁 I'll be in Bali until the end of August so I'll have to line up delivery for early September. Something to look forward to when I arrive home. Thanks for this walkthrough, Sis. They help so much. Big love to you! 💐 xx
I just got this too, and I, too, *could not wait* to have it! Brilliant. And then I realized that the "WTF is Tarot?" book, by Bakara Wintner, is the guidebook! It's a great book, and I'm going to be having a lot of fun with this set. Oh......yes, Roots and Wings is the best, I'm going to have to get that. Also, Ms. Wintner owns a store in Durham, NC, "Everyday Magic", and I'm excited to stop by there the next time I take a trip to Raleigh!
@@tarotmap Oh yeah, definitely :) From the way she writes, she would give an AWESOME interview! Let me know what you think about the book --- or, could I send it to you? Tell me how, that's how good I think the book is!!!
Omg!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 2 things they stuck out to me that I love about this deck. One is the 5 of swords 😍😍😍😍 Two is the 8 of pentacles. The 8 of pentacles is the tarot card associated with my bday, August 24, so I always look at the 8 of pentacles. This one has a bee on it!!!! My birth name means honeybee!!! 😍❤️🌹 🐝
You're so right. Love the updated approach to the cards. I could see myself in them and that rarely happens. And the colors, ❤❤❤, just draw you in. Thank your for taking the time to do these deck reviews. I watch you and a couple of others before buying any decks.
I just got the deck but haven't started working with it yet. I also loved Bakara's book WTF Tarot and highly recommend it for a modern take and new perspective on the court cards. The only card I have a problem with is the Devil which is an important card for me.
You seem not to be the only one! To me it can be easily mistaken for the Chariot and yes, not my fave either. I saw the horses as trapped in the circus. They have to learn tricks and perform /do things that are not natural to them... I can work with the image but yes...hear you.
Knew you would LOVE it!! The artwork by Autumn is so exquisite! I agree, that Hermit......the way she has portrayed the snow, so soft, I can almost feel it! But I keep looking at the little leaf the bear has....I cant see it! Is it a sycamore pod? Mistletoe? Can you see Kasia??? xxxx
Thank you for showing this, Kasia. :) I think I've decided on not getting it. This is for sure one I would've jumped on instantly a few years ago, but by now I don't see the point as I already love the Lumina, and Wild Unknown, and really hesitate to expand my collection. Btw I don't understand this Hierophant nor Devil lol :-/
Roots of Aurora Ania- the Hierophant shows the mushroom 🍄 Amanita Muscaria- is a poison but also psychedelic. To me it plays on the theories that human consciousness developed because of eating of consciousness expanding plants. Like this one. It also plays on shamanic roots of Xmas - read on Santa Klaus and this mushroom 🍄
Hello! To me this Hierophant also brings to mind mycology. It’s really interesting how in the picture it’s showing the mycelium of the fungi. The larger organism we don’t see, but has a very important role in the ecosystem. The mushroom is actually like the reproductive system of the fungi. It’s what spreads the spores for more fungi to grow. It reminds me of the system the Hierophant represents and how it brings people together (not specifying on any religion). I think the psychedelic aspect also comes into play, but the fact that it shows the “roots” makes me think of what lies deeper. Some mycelia cover enormous amount of territory and a huge part in the ecosystem of a region, so I thought that was really interesting.
Hello Kasia, this deck arrived today...there is no guidebook or little white book or any mention of a downloadable pdf or online guidebook. Am I missing something do you know? Thank you! xo
I love almost everything but the Devil is a little bit disappointing. Death is gorgeous and explicit so I imagine devil will be the same. I don't get Temperance but I like it.
