Hey man, just a small critique. Your chart says 4/4, but you have this written out as if it’s cut time. What you have notated as quarter notes are actually eighths, and the noted 8ths are actually 16ths. Tempo is 68, but it’s notated as if the tempo was 136. Could be confusing for some who rely solely on sheet music, or new musicians who use sheets to learn songs. Great work otherwise.
Hey Josh! I always pick tempos based on what will be easiest to read on the page (eighths/ sixteenths vs. sixteenths and 32nds). That way whether the track is "technically" at 68 or 136, it's in the simplest possible notation. For sure though if someone had never listened to the track and only had the sheet music, they might accidentally bust this out in half-time!
Luke Vogt Music For sure. An easy way to make this notation correct is just to switch it from 4/4 to 2/2 (cut time), which basically cuts your note values in half. Of course at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter, I’m more just messing with you 😆 Great playing, and thanks for your willingness to sow into other drummers by providing resources like this.
Your drum cover is amazing and importantly thank you so much for adding the music sheet, God Bless you Bro. Kindly added few songs ( Reckless Love of God ) brother. This has been such a blessing for people who want to learn drums. Especially this has helped so much.. . . . . . . . Once again thank you soooooooooooooooooooooo much.
Hey mate! I’m trying to build a drum for worship, could you pretty pls help me by telling me what cymbals u use? Especially the crash (paiste on the right). Thanks a tonne bro!
Hey man! Love your videos. Your Red Rocks "Breakthrough" video isn't viewable in the US anymore. Anyway you can re-upload or upload it somewhere so I can download to practice with? Thanks!
I want to make a cover like this... but I don’t know the copyright rules. How did you play the way maker audio in the background track without getting a strike?
I think some of the sections with the sheet music are not matching quite with the song. Example, the beginning and the bass part during the chorus. Good job though!
