I always check my cm foot length to measure my US size. Like for 25.5cm foot length slight wide footed length with thick socks on. I go to 26.5cm which is size US9 for lining brands. This brands are snugfit in all kind of shoes, so it’s really hurt even slight wide footed from toe to wear TTS. I always add 1cm for snugfits, and in different brands of shoes let’s say you pick your true to size. But the shoes you bought is different CM from your other shoes TTS. I depends on what CM should wear, for snugfits or non snugfits. There some shoes are good for wide footed to wear if they’re not snugfit to wear TTS. So must check the fit features first before buying it.
I personally think that saying "mesh strobel board" is a bit of misnomer. It's not a board per se as used in traditional shoes. I think it should just be called mesh strobel, which is meant to protect the actual midsole foam from hard landings and degradation between it and the insole, at the same time having better feel of the cushion itself. So, yeah, it's not a board.
