It’s Carrobeet Day in Nara and De Li is preparing to harvest her carrobeet vegetables - to make soup for everyone! But her carrobeets keep vanishing, leaving holes in the ground! She finds clues to the identity of the culprit - but each time she thinks its one of the other Piplings, it turns out that they’ve been making something of their own for Carrobeet Day - and definitely not taking De Li’s carrobeets! The children try to help De Li harvest the carrobeets that are left

- but discover that something is pulling them down from underground! Then a narmole pops up from one of the holes, surprising everyone. The children follow its trail to the cave - and find some untouched carrobeets. It turns out that the narmole only eats the leaves on top! And the cave is absolute full of carrobeets! So now there are plenty for Carrobeet Day - and the narmole can join the celebrations!
