By top end levels do you mean high key pushing? because the rank 2 tank in the world is currently a bear druid. Vengeance DH is also in an incredibly tanky spot right now, they only thing they're lacking is competitive offense. If instead you mean in an MDI setting, the key is lower so survivability usually isn't the biggest factor, damage is; the tank spec that has the highest output potential or pull-set-up utility will always be chosen

MDI is different compared to live leaderboards. On live it is much more versatile and the difference between tanks is minor ( they are within 2 key levels)

Bishop tomobear would have been 4th at the time as there have always been 2 Chinese warrior tanks above Andy since one of the major push weeks a few weeks back.

The reason Prot Warriors are brought so good, is because of how much active mitigation they have, IP + Shield Block, plus a 30% heal every 2 minutes WHICH also blocks all melee while its up is just so good, plus the damage that they can bring, is just way too good to pass up.

You have to remember they're specifically playing around their cd's, they have gear and talents purely targeting their AoE, and their spec just works really well with big pulls, right? not saying it's not impressive, they're clearly some of the best players out there, it's just good to remember that everything they have and is doing is thought out ahead of time as well.

unholy dks preform very well in giant pulls because their damage scales exponentially.

They have a spell that put degenerative wounds on 1 target. 2 to 3 if not bad. It costs 1 rune. They put wounds on maximum targets. Lvl 30 is a talent that when you explote a wound it deals aoe dmg to all nearby enemies. Death and decay let you do aoe with your spell that explode your wounds so if you have 10 enemies with 2-3 wounds every enemy will be exploding 1by1 doing aoe to all others 9. So each of the mobs is doing dmg to the others 9 same time you explode 1 wound, so exploding 1 wound yo doing aoe dmg from 10 wounds to all. Also the outbreak doth can explode and deals aoe dmg when it does(pasive) and talent lvl 90 costs 30 runic power and makes explote your outbreak dot on each enemy with it,so again each enemy hit all others. Now you can add anny aoe trinkets there and perfect gear that they can pick.

Mw using conflict major in the mdi which does a lot of healing on these MDI pulls
