On March 14, 2020, WAYLAND flew to Miami to play a private party before kicking off their spring tour, when the pandemic cancelled their flights and quarantined them in Florida for forty days and forty nights.
With one bag of clothes, two guitars, and the Essential Warriors tuning in every night, The Keep Your Distance Tour was born.
Like a pride of lions the Essential Warriors faced their fears, licked their wounds, and roared together, checking in on one another and fiercely protecting the community, honoring the way of the land. Be The Lion is the reminder that the courage of the pride exists in all of us.
