Cool to see all three streams, especially enjoyed the organics for some reason besides the manual packing. How do they collect glass now?

Thanks. I enjoyed the greens too. All their greens trucks are quite entertaining actually. Glass is still dome by Labrie expert 2000s with recycler buckets on em except for this route and maybe a few others where a true Labrie recycler picks it up

Okay I was under the impression they were just using Curbtenders for all recycle, and not the MSLs. good that mostly those Expert 2000s do recycle and glass

this is actually the first time ive ever seen a curbtender on recycle before. this is either their only curbtender recycle route or one of no more than 3 or 4 routes AT MOST. They have 1 recycler to pick up all the glass, but granted thatd go pretty fast. unique practice here for sure

I really really enjoy Tacoma's curbtenders for some reason. The yellow arm on the ACX looks really nice. Always cool to see two trucks in one shot as well! The green color matches the Curbtender really well. The food waste wrap is really cool. The IPL's are really nice to see, especially since they aren't super common. Is that what they're currently buying? Has Tacoma always used Curbtenders besides the recycling trucks? Great work!

Thanks! I really enjoy Tacomas trucks too. I plan to make at least 1 more trip to get some videos of their trucks, and I have 1 more compilation of their trucks too. Tacoma has mainly used curbtenders for trash/greens, but many years ago they used AMREP asls, rand asls, and who knows what else for trash and later on greens. Not sure if you remember the single axle university place 310 AMREP ASL but that as well as its sister truck used to be Tacoma trucks way back when. Before they used their green color scheme. Now it's all Labrie and curbtender for asls. And yes they still use IPLs

Very nice job! Was actually laughing a little seeing how much the first ACX shook the cart. Btw, what type of carts are Tacoma's dark green trash containers? I have never seen that model before. This video was quite entertaining despite the fact that the trucks weren't anything "special". If you get the right shots with Curbtenders, I could watch them in action for hours, and I think you mastered that!

Lol he was really pumping the arm in the first clip! Impressed that the cart didn't fall in. Completely forgot that they had an ACX Curbtender until I saw your picture of it on Flickr. All the curbtenders worked really nicely. The arm motion was very fluid, made them very fun to watch imo. What kind of cart is that at 3:44? IPL or something like that right? Hardly see/hear anything about them down here lol The wrap on the truck at 4:12 looked real good. How old are the Petes? I've seen some for sale recently, but never thought they were too old. Is their Amrep still around btw? Great video!

Haha thanks man. They have quite a few acx now actually. I saw a bunch of them leave the yard. At least 10 and all their trucks weren't even out of the yard yet. I know some of these Petes (just the square corner, no rib) are getting fairly old. I'd say most are 7-13 years old. Somewhere around there. Just that it's a municipality so they get rid of them fast. University place has at least 1 Tacoma curbtender that sounds really good. And no sadly their amrep msl is gone. And yes those are ipls
