What about the guy who drools out of his mouth guard while he on top mount and he’s drooling all over your Gi and almost your face . How do I tell him his spit isn’t welcome on me anymore 😅

Awesome. I recently had a patient at my hospital that had some shit in his face, he said he trained a lot and thought he got it at his gym. His advice was not only to wash your gi after each session but to spray out your bag with disinfectant each time you put dirty gis in it. I thought it was solid advice.
You definitely do not want to walk around barefoot in the showers on a navy ship had a guy do that he got horrible staph infection all over his feet he could barely walk.
are showers commonly available at BJJ gyms? our gym has often 50+ students in each class. I can't see how it would even be practical to have enough shower capacity in a gym that size
I did all that i got 2 at the same time they clean the matt too i got 4 staph infection in 3 month i quit jiujitsu before i get it on my face staphs leaves lifelong scaring
I got staph in my face after rolling. It was terrible and I looked like a zombie. Now I check the skin my Trainingspartner either before technique training or rolling.
