Fun details from the novels: Three characters were nearly killed in Mrs.Jewels classroom, Paul who fell out the window one time, Sharie who had some weird sleep spasm and rolled out the window and Mrs.Jewels son who was almost thrown out the window by another teacher. Surprisingly the closest thing to a "Main character" in the novels is usually Dee Dee as she has the closest relationship with Louis (seen mainly in Book 3 which is more story heavy). The closest thing to a relationship in the novels is between Kathy and D.J as they share a chapter where Kathy is grossly fascinated by D.J's ability to be happy all the time (they also dance together in the tango class chapter). For some reason Ben Franklin was their substitute teacher and she was a woman.
@@vincentthought6130You have to read the books they are absolutely hilarious, I think the Todd character was always the one who had to go home on the kindergarten bus (before lunch ) because he kept getting his name written on the board . Each chapter was dedicated to one student (except for the 13th story there is no 13th story, PS go to your local library read the books you will get this joke)
One of my favorite things about this show is how expressive the characters are, it takes full advantage of being animated and I love every second of it.
@@DillionDog10 Yeah. Rewatching the show in full, I noticed the flash animation later in the show, and also noticed a lot of shortcuts the animation takes through the whole show. At least the expressions are still funny I guess 😂
omg I just remembered this show out of the blue. I'm so glad someone made an out of context video of wayside, the show was too wack and wild not to. 😭 I literally love you for making this
Dude, that is EXACTLY what happened to me!! When I rewatched it, there was just too many prime scenes that made me laugh my ass off lmao. I love you too bestie
You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last months :)
I used to watch this show a looooong time ago, eventually forgot the name of it but I remembered the cartoon itself for much longer. After even more time passed, I forgot about it entirely. Until today!!! Thanks for the nostalgia trip ^-^
It's literally so surreal to me seeing this show I initially watched in like 2011 or 2012 being memed in today's age. My sister and I have SO many inside jokes between us based off this show. We even call our dog "Sammy" to this day, (we started calling her that back when I first watched the show, and thankfully she's still around).
Yes, I’ve read all four. They’re funnier than the show and make even less sense. For instance: “Your nose a ferret,” said Dameon. “My nose a ferret?” asked Mrs. Jewls. “My nose a hamster,” said Joe. Billy bleated. Mrs. Jewls licked her leg. “Hey Paul,” said Leslie. “I like your pigtails.” “Thanks,” said Paul. “May I touch your pajamas?” “Go ahead,” said Bebe, who was already petting Leslie’s pajamas. “She won’t scratch you.” “This is crazy!” shouted Terrence. “He’s cute,” said Dana. 😂😂😂😂😂that’s more than I meant to write but you get the idea.
see, this is the good shit right here. an out of context compilation of a show i have never heard of in my life and i watch like 1 minute and im like "yeah i can vibe with this" and then i watch the show and then i either dont like it or i watch it all its over and im sad so i go back to youtube and there's another and the cycle continues
I swear Mrs Jewl is the weridest teacher in animation- And tbh, when I first saw this show I thought Todd was gonna be a boy sue(whatever you call them-). Glad I was wrong😅
