@@joelembird8477 not that much anymore due to the huge baseball little league scandal that happened decades ago. Because of that event baseball/softball isn't getting eyeballs anymore
As an American, my heart bleeds for Team USA. I was in the edge of my seat the whole game, hoping, praying for us to make the comeback and win it all in story book fashion. But it seemed this tournament wasn’t an American story. It was a Japanese one. They won the day, and did so against some of the best players in the world. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It’s hard to be bitter over such thrilling baseball, the sport I grew up with. I think Mike Trout put it perfectly. “We’ll be back.” Oh yes, we will. And we will bring an even better team. So my message to Japan is this: Get ready for 2026! The Americans will return with even greater ambition to be the world champions 🔥🤩🔥🤩🔥 Amazing games. Much love from across the sea 🇺🇸❤🇯🇵
USA has a lot of superstars in the field with Aaron Judge and pitchers such as Clayton Kershaw, Max Scherzer, Gerrit Cole, Justin Verlander, etc. It would be great to have more of the best lineup in the 26th tournament! I am also dreaming of competing in the finals again in three years time!
From Taiwan. Congrats on the WBC Champion! Thank you Team Japan for great games, especially the last two. Ohtani is more than a hero. Nootbaar's story and influence is fantastic. Darvish shares his experience and is a good mentor. Other NPB players and coaches show the baseball of Japan to the world . This WBC is full of story and as a baseball fan I'm previleged to witness that.
As an American, I was rooting so hard for Japan because of my Japanese roots from my moms side! And it was the happiest day of my life watching sports ever!!!! And seeing if you celebrating like this brings joy in my heart ❤️
