I remember when the logo was updated in 1996. It was like 10tv got resurrected with a whole new design and look. Loved the shiny intro effects. They kind of scaled it down a little by 98 though
1998 was the year they began using the music package that was introduced by Polish television broadcaster TVN the year prior. The station would go on to use this package until 2016, albeit at a lesser rate after it switched to high definition newscasts. Other stations that used it include KTUU (Anchorage, 1999-2006); KXTV (Sacramento, 1998-2003); KYW-TV (Philadelphia; 1998-2001).

@@chimaamanambu6067 Though Tegna wouldn't be half as bad if it wasn't for that odd music they have going for their package. Those others at least have some fitting music, then suddenly Tegna has....whatever they have. 10 was using Aerial which gets overused but is a rather popular set of tracks (about as popular as Image or Enforcer is). That was better than what they have now.
