I don't understand Infi. He is the Human G.O.A.T to the point thjat, at his best he makes even Fortitude's Human play seem like that of a 1,800 MMR Human player(yes, Infi at his best is *that* god-like with the Human race. And yet, for whatever reason, he decides to grift as this 2,00-2,200 MMR Orc player that really has no chance against ultra-top players. Why, of all the 3 races other than Human, would Infi pick the race that is least similar to Human in style as his new main? I don't know. Infi is the greatest macro player in the history of WC3. He is the only player that I have ever watched since 2005 that can open not 2, but 3 fronts at once in a game and play the "big picture" game perfectly. Infi could be a top SC2 or even Brood War player is he wanted to. At his peak 10 years ago, he had this amazing ability to memorize every inch of the map and to mentally keep track of 100 different things going on at once, and put it all together flawlessly. I will never forget when Infi played competitively Vs Happy the last time at the Huya Super League and smashed Happy 3-0 and frankly flat out outclassed Happy so badly that no game was even close. You can make the case that Infi in 2014 reached the hjighest skill ceilling of any WC3 player ever. Why did this Human "god of gods" decide to play the most DOTA-like race of WC3, the race that is the least similar in style to Human? Nobody knows but Infi. Is there anything more cringe than Infi running around the map with his Far Seer, like this is 2006 and he is Grubby trying to lame his opponents to death? Maybe because Infi is such a huge Grubby fanboy(aren't we all?), he decided to emulate his favorite non-Human player. But this is not 2005-2009 and you can't "Grubby lame" at the highest level anymore. Especially since Grubby in his prime was a much, much, much better Orc player for his time than Infi is as an Orc player today. Don't get me wrong: Infi is still better than 99.8% of players with any of the 3 other races, but he can't really beat ultra-top players with Orc. I suspect that Infi, deep down, is afraid of playing Human and disappointing his long-time fans and everyone in general. In the last series between him and Happy when he played random and got Human, you could see at the beggining when Infi saw that he got Human, he swallowed in fear and his face showed genuine concern because he realized that he could just lose his perfect 40-0 winning record Vs Happy with Human. He end up beating Happy very easily, as he always does with his main, although this time he had the adcantage of Happy having the wrong build. I think that Infi doesn't want to destroy his legend by playing his main. Even though at his best he is tiers above even Fortitude, he is so out-of-shape with his main that he probably would lose some games if he came back. This is why he grifts with Orc
What I understand is Infi hates the fans and is deliberately trolling them because they call him names whenever he doesn’t play human. Hes a pretty bitter guy although I agree he’s the best purely skill wise of all time. No other top contender performed nearly as well with multiple races as often I know Sky and TH also had a few times with NE. Happy if he dedicated himself probably could but also the game is almost dead for years nkw
Infi just tired of playing same race for 20 years. He played random just to play something new. But human was still the race he could get so maybe thats why he took horde, the least similar to human race. I also switched hu to orc but just coz of multiple nerfs xd
