Yeah, if your recipe for success includes buying stocks at the bottom of the 2008 crash and riding the longest bull market in history up... it's really not helpful to hear. Just another way the younger generation of docs has a harder grind up. And yes, I get that DCAing into the market is the idea no matter what's going on, but you really can't discount the power of that bull run. Likely once in a lifetime deal.
