I always enjoy watching your videos Eric. Even though I'm not knee deep in the hobby anymore and have unsubscribed from quite a few youtubers, your WCS videos remain set to 'all' in the notification settings. :) The way you continue to speak in a manner that makes new members feel welcomed, even with your level of experience, is much appreicated. Oh, and I hope I"m not being too personal when I say that you're looking well and leaner. Whatever you're doing, keep it up! :)

Hi Eric. Very nice shave. On nicks/cuts, I used a styptic pencil for decades, until I started in this hobby a couple years ago and was exposed to other options. For normal shaves, I've landed on using an alum block after every shave, as you mentioned. I find that, combined with an appropriate aftershave or balm, to be most refreshing. When I have a more determined bleeder, though (thankfully, becoming rarer and rarer!), my go to is Proraso styptic gel. For me, it outperforms all other options. Have a safe trip!

What's up Eric? Nice shave and this series of soaps collaboration with A&E is fantastic. Yep, you mention Paul H and his lather and I chuckle while watching Ken Surfs and his. I'm not quite as involved as Kevy Shaves when lathering but not paper thin either. Water is the key, hydration of the soap is what gives the cushion and slickness as you mention. I call it the "Saturation Threshold"...that perfect balance. Besides it sounds all scientifically cool!

Looking sharp Eric nice haircut 😊 Great video as always hope to see you use badger brush soon as really love watching your lathers and learn a lot from them, I do enjoy synthetics but prefer badger and find it more rewarding achieving a great lather with one. Those soaps look very nice
