@@WorldChaseTag a gamble that seems to have highly paid off although observing him he does seem to need more time practicing on the quad, and parkour in general. There were a number or slips he made which just comes better with practice

My goodness! What a match, the best of this season for sure. Even before it went to the Sudden Death it was so good, Sarin the crossfit guy starting super strong and during the whole game the chasers were doing ever so well to close space and the evasions were still made 🔥 And the sudden death was just the icing on the cake along with cherry in the 2nd set of Sudden Death chase. Both of these teams profile looked impressive and they didn't disappoint. Looking forward to the remaining 2 teams 😉

Commentator1: Is it a sudden sudden death or- Commentator2: The most sudden of deaths. That was gold. Personally, Group C has a promising start here. Groub B was by far the weakest of the groups, with group A being the best. But so far WCT USA has some awesome moments even though it lacks the velocity and technicity of the European teams. *Also I miss Seth Wang from GNF, a real beast*

Yep! Group B especially - the teams weren't that good, and each team had a serious weak link or two. But this match was just EXPLOSIVE. The two teams just kept going at it, and no major weak links.

Sparsha is probably my favourite athlete I've seen in this tournament so far, along with Seth from GNF. Luciano gets bonus points for his style too! But after seeing this I'm very excited to see more of sparsha. As for Sarin: what a force to be reckoned with, but he does have glaring technical weaknesses which other groups will be able to take advantage of if they play it smart.

This is the best match of the tourney so far. Sarin is a monster. His speed and arm range might actually be the best rn. Sparsha was really awesome as well, definitely the MVP for the other side.

Wow!!! 🤯 Sarin's done a really great job, particularly for someone new to parkour. Stunning performance, crazy acceleration and super quick slides!!! 😳 Sparsha looked nice too!!! His jumping on/over obstacles looked totally smooth and natural. 😲 This was really exciting, Group C looks very promising so far 🙌

Best game of the tournament so far! Not only was it tight and thrilling, but I think we could be seeing the birth of two stars. Everyone is talking about Sarin, and rightly so! But Sparsha also looked amazing. I'm getting real Tayvon vibes with his mix of style and skill. I'm eagerly awaiting more from both of these teams!

Sparsha and Sarin are both amazing evaders for their respective teams! Sarin’s cross fit experience worked out really well this game and Sparsha’s quick momentum change allowed for some great fakes and idling. This was by far the best game yet in my opinion and I doubt that there is going to be a closer game in this entire WCT!

The way Sarin goes under the mountain is very interesting to me. He somehow manages to do a combination of sliding and ducking under it without losing a lot of momentum (2:20) despite being one of the rather taller guys. The parkour athletes tend to grip the bar with both hands and do this "swing" under it which can work but usually seems slower. In Chase 11 (6:50) you can see how it works out for Dominic but Johnny slows down quite a bit.

yeah a lot of different ways to get under the mountain, a lot of people slid under or crawled under, I was more comfortable with doing an underbar to my feet so I was able to run out of it

Really impressive work from both teams, but especially impressive to see Sarin translate so well without a parkour background...cool to see people like him and Kyle adapt so well to the sport, feel like it sets a precedent for expanding the skillsets we'll see in future competitions

What an incredible match. I knew to look out for Sparsha! I do think HUB PTC is actually the better team here. Jeramiah also seemed solid, just unlucky this game on his part. And of course Sarin popped off. Wonder if Sarin will continue to pop off in future games like this though. Both teams definitely have better evaders than chasers though. Awesome group!

What was particularly interesting was the varied use of the quad. Very often both the Chaser and Evader took the same obstacle in a different way which I think makes it even more interesting.

This was thrilling AF - Sarin & Sparsha are two athletes that stole the spotlight for me Loved seeing so many different approaches to running on the quad - it was clear from the start that every team has worked on their strategies (although Sarin was very disruptive with his berserker-like accleration)
