Another beautiful edit! Never would have though of using this song, but I really enjoyed this. I have to believe that them coming to that location at the end of season 10, the same place where Nathan professed his love for her and she said "I can't" was an intentional parallel on Hallmark's part to show how they're getting another chance, and I'm totally here for those kinds of details in the storytelling.

It is true that some professions expose one to more danger than others. However, an accountant can be killed in an accident on the way to work, a teacher can and has been killed in a school shooting. We must not be afraid to be with those we truly love because they are involved in honorable professions, that protect us all.

I never thought about it like that, but yes, you're right. And you don't see anybody avoiding being involved with Elizabeth because of her profession, but her fear is understandable cause of what she's been through.

Love continuing to watch her and Nathans love story ❤️❤❤to beautiful jack asked Elizabeth to promise him to open her heart to love again ❤❤❤Nathan is perfect she said it would be to hard to loose you the way i lost jack her great love Nathan said he wouldn't let that happen he said he sould quit the mounties for her Elizabeth said you cant promise me that he asked her what she wanted and what am i to you she has always known she has loved Nathan and hes the one that makes her safe besides jack something broke whenvshe lost jack and didn't want to go through this again Nathan is her hearts desire and in love and so glad she told him shes in love with him and apologized for hurting him Jack would be happy with Nathan ❤❤❤ Can't wait for season 12

I have a feeling that it wasn't so much him being a mountie that she was afraid of. It's more that the depth of her love for him scares her. Lucas was in some intense moments and she never has gotten this worked up, the way that she has for Nathan. With Lucas she would be incredibly sad. With Nathan she would be totally devastated. If Lucas was the one who had been the mountie, I still think she would have chosen him at first.

I completely agree with you. We saw her reaction to Lucas being shot - she was sad and concerned of course, but she was not overcome like she was at the thought of losing Nathan. I’m excited to see Elizabeth open her heart this season and take the risk of having a great love again with Nathan!

@@Erin_Elizabeth_HeartieShe absolutely does not have the same angst for Lucas as she has always had for Nathan. And it absolutely is not because “Nathan reminds her of Jack”. Elizabeth is quite aware that Nathan is Nathan. She told him when she rejected him in the eighth season, “It would hurt too much if I lost you the way that I lost Jack.” In other words, she cared about him as she HAD cared about Jack. When she was on the phone about Lucas’s condition and the guy hung up, her response was not devastation but like, Oh well, he hung up. When Lucas was in the explosion at the mind, she was cool as a cucumber, but when she thought Nathan was shot that first time, she forgot herself and ran into his arms. This last time, she couldn’t because she was an engaged woman. She just had to take herself off and compose herself. It has always been Nathan. I just think they made a mistake and took it too far with Lucas in an effort to show her overcoming her fears. Now we have angry Lucas fans😢

I think this is wonderful, amazing and beautiful, but it’s gonna get to the end with one kiss and that’s it for another year. I mean they’re just so slow, this is been going on for a long time not just this season. I get really bored with things are so slow, especially this slow.
