Bw100 is the competitor but it's more expensive but it's not flammable.

This works perfect with sticky buttons- I spilled a drink over my car buttons and the button got sticky and stuff and I sprayed this and the button is good as new.

Used it on a Randall amp that was sitting in a old barn that was corroded. Now the pots and guitar inputs work flawlessly

I just bought a can of this from my local Walmart in the hardware department. It was right next to the cans of regular wd40.

They say its not oil based ? I cleaned my temp and humidity station with wd40 and doasent work anymore..it wos all sticky and oiled.

Did you try cleaning that again but with 99% alcohol? should probably work if it was working before the WD-40. Hopefully it didn't short anything. @@SOULFLYSI

Every WD-40 video I have seen shows them spraying an already clean component. I would rather see a dirty or corroded contact sprayed then see the results. One reason I am critical of the WD-40 brand is that I have contacted them by telephone and Facebook asking about their WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner with no results. Two days ago I called WD-40 and the representative said she would pass my question to WD-40 and that I would receive a call or email - NADA. So, I don't know whether to spend/waste money on WD-40 to clean an electrical board with multiple connected wiring and relays, or go with a CRC product.

Have you tried 99% alcohol? I used it on a phone that ended getting dropped in water and that an "electronics technician" told me he couldn't fix. Phone worked perfectly after cleaning it with 99% alcohol. 👍🏼
