Lesson learned, Don't use Mudrock for stalling. When Kyo said "Tankiest defender" he meant tanky but with low damage. Not tanky with high damage

The problem with a "really good defender" like Hoshi or Nian is that they'll deal too much damage to him, releasing the black cloud where they stand and thus getting bodied by his OHKO

This stage is super hard especially the CM. I almost waste 100 sanity on challenge just to get the medal and after that, it feels so good that Im done on this stage. Mad respect to Kyo

I was trying this, all was going great, until Cuora bonked the boss too hard and got nuked with dominion instead of my Exusiai, amazing luck

IMPORTANT: You MUST have SilverAsh's S3 on M3, and the only way you can unlock Masteries is if you have SA's Doctor as a friend, so you can't do what Kyo said and just choose any random SA with S3 equipped. You MUST have a Friend with SilverAsh S3M3, because without the M3, there just isn't enough time for the skill to charge up, and you will leak the second Ursus Guard because Myrtle can only block one! Edit: It's not just the timing to block the Ursus Guard either, because SilverAsh is pretty much the core of this whole strategy, if you don't have M3, you won't be able to kill the artillery drone in time either, and then what's the point?

Just with the intro I already knew my squad is WAAAAY under leveled for this. Nevertheless these guides are always entertaining to watch wether I need help or not.

This map is so hard i didn't even get to the part where the red imperial strikers (harpoon guys) show up. it's just downright impossible to place a unit. any unit, any-goddamn-where. there's always someone ready to completely destroy it between the harpoon guys, the f-you-and-your-gameplay-experience-drone and walmart darth vader himself... actually, Vader is the walmart version, this guy is the real shit. I do realize this video was like made almost a year ago...but for rerun or someone doing it from the archives, I also figured that using Ashlock to bait out the boss' dominions on the side-corridors, barraging the boss from afar while the boss is being tanked by Cuora, for example, was a viable strategy. That way, the central area remains even clearer of the black clouds.

a friendly reminder of a fellow doctor bring sutyr and thorns in case silverash if your silverash lvl is 90 below dies on the sniper place sutyr on the top left where two snipers are m3 skill 3 those two then you no problem just put thorns on midnight position replace spot with saria e2 skill 2 in case you'll get 1+sp when saria healed the injured operators as well with medics sp. same as Sir kyo instructed and thank you for the guide fellow doctor kyo

cleared this stage with 5 minutes to spare before the event closed...its 3:55am...aGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. i put this stage off until the last minute...bad idea...thank god you where here to save the day bro. im gonna go sleep now

Looks like an E2 Lv55 S3M1 SilverAsh is not enough, he keeps dying to the drone.

So, apparently Nian does more damage than Exusiai does because on the step you put Sniper down to have him cast Dom he goes "haha Nian nuked go brrr"

I just needed to confirm the difficulty with god himself. Seems I was right ;-;

Almost 2 years later and silver ash still slaying boss like its yesterday

I play the tw server and for some reasons the boss blew up silverash during the second burst when he was supposed to get the boss down to around 30% health. Then, when the boss has more health than in the video, it dropped dominance in the middle of the map, then insta-killing my defender. Fortunately I had surtr and exusiai to save my day. This level took me more than an hour, jesus christ. KyouStinV is truly our light

Note, SilverAsh activating the second dominion isn't the end of the world. Just close to it. Kroos and Midnight can still make it, just makes the last half nerve-wracking. And requires the use of DP to stall and Cardigan up north. Oh, also a Support Saria of sufficient strength to tank the middle. OK, maybe it is the end of the world. But at least the last five are slow and you can stack medics and Myrtle. What I get for using Gummi here :)

One enemy left, Silver Ash skill ran out, the red guy killed my defender, then killed the reserve defender and after many many eternal slow mo movements manipulating the operator interfaz and trying to juggle my DP retreating medics who couldn't reach the baits and seeing how months of trying this stage were in peril Exia managed to kill the guy when he only was a hair away from entering the blue box. I'm taking a break from this...

coming to this video for help 2 years after it was released, I think they must have increased the time it takes Silverash's ability to charge up, because I have to wait a good 3-4 seconds longer before mine is charged up, which in turn delays every other part of the build. I get to about 34 enemies defeated and I'm overwhelmed

Amiya Guard Second Skill can outright Nuke the Emperor dude in his second phase. Just make sure she has a good healer to keep her alive.

Placed Saria on Cuora's place... she was too strong. Beat more than half of EB's HP before SA's forth deployment. Use a "weaker" tank.

Why make EX-8 such a fkin pain in the ass when every single other stage were super EZ???? I spent like 1 hour doing this stage as I was following Kyostin-sensei's guide. Ty

used your tactic, got punished cuz of the domain BS, it punishes all ops pretty badly, difference was i think i stalled alot longer cuz the last 5 enemies, u cant mess around with them in any way, just hold then with low dmg defender XD With reference to one of the commenters below, the domain cast prioritizes the largest dmg dealer, there is no indicator, so i just assume either SA, BP or lapp dealt the higher dps at that time and hoped for the best

I have to say I kind of hate stages like this where it's more a gimmick than a true challenge. "Oh gee look the boss is literally running in circles, don't touch the ground because it's lava haha!"

This stage is such a pain. I like hard stages, but I hate this combination of gating your damage to stage a boss at the same time as baiting boss abilities. Feels like replaying the level a ton is more important than the strategic aspect

Don't use a strong tank, pick one with the least damage in proportion to defense/health, otherwise, you'll get screwed with the dominion on them and your team will get deleted.

This strategy doesn't work for me. I try to bait out his dominance with my sniper but he keeps throwing it at the defender...

This boss is such shat, first time I'm voluntarily skipping a stage since I started playing this game. I def could beat it, especially with this strat, but I can't be bothered.

Me: Ah, previous stages were easy-peasy~ WD-EX-8: *deploys Emperor’s Blade* Me:….guess I’m doomed, huh?…. Seriously, it’s so damn hard to pay attention to EB’s mechanics of attack, especially when he uses Dominion. Literally minus ASPD and minus your operator if hit in the fog. Probably the third hardest boss after Talulah and Patriot

This stage just sucks, i know that the low squad is so that "everyone" can clear it but with "high" level aka, stats defenders make it really hard to stall without triggering the dominion, in the was able to do it few minutes before the event end but no chance for the challenge mode. Worst part, i just discovered that the tile in front of the exit point can cover the 3 enemies coming from the mid part and din't need to use 3 operators to cover every lane... edit: nvm, just check the challenge video and just kill my normal positioning

OD-EX-8 can't even compare to this..
