Well now GM has a 5.5 32 valve naturally aspirated V-8 coming out in the very near future it makes 670 horsepower stock Ford has been building such engines for over 20 years now and the most stock horsepower is 520 from a 5.2 liter just so you know it's a 150 horsepower short and GM first attempt at such a engine or should l say Chevys first attempt at such a engine since the 90s ZR1 so Ford better get with the program or Chevys new 5.5 32 valve V-8 will be packing Fords ass hard we are not talking a 50 horsepower difference here it's a 150 horsepower difference in power compared to anything Ford has that is naturally aspirated and it's only .3 liters bigger and it redlines at 8600rpm
@@gloriamaletta8667 120k plus car vs 60k car lol😒😒 Ford did it on a smaller budget and had to meet the packaging restrictions of the mustang. They basically slapped a FP crank into a Coyote. Im sure if they had a bigger budget they will easily make a engine to match that of GM.
@@Jimmyxsx I get it l was just answering someone who believes that Ford engines are superior to GM engines l prefer GM other people prefer Ford it's cool because we have choices l do my best not to bad mouth Ford and dislike when someone bad mouths GM Ford Chrysler we are very lucky to have all three manufacturers and it makes for great competition and giving us choices it would be rather boring if we only had one manufacturer the other thing l like about GM is the LS engine in 1997 was only in Corvettes and a few years later this platform make into other cars and trucks this 5.2 coyote comes in a GT350 it has and probably never will make it into other Ford cars and trucks Ford seems to be investing and pushing everything to do with the ecoboost that I'm not a fan of and many who like Ford are not a fan of like GM dropping the LS 4.8 for the new 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine that has had nothing but problems the LS 4.8 was a good solid dependable reliable long running engine so yes GM does make some junk but it's not the LS engine the LS engine has been the biggest GM breakthrough and the best thing for GM since the introduction of the small block in 1955
They were going to put LT6 in a Camaro Z/28 but looks like they don’t want to spend the money on it with electric taking over. Such a shame, a 670 hp N/A Z/28 would have been going out on top for sure, 5.Bros caught a break on that one.
@@samholcombe3129 yes that's a shame electric cars may not be the future think about all the cars on the road think about all these highly toxic batteries that will need replaced with no way to recycle them and they can't simply be buried in the ground do you realize the cost to get rid of them safely someone will be paying for it and it won't be cheap
