We’re back in Wales at the market town of Rhayader and on an adventure to discover the Elan valley

Rhayader a market town in central Wales is in the historic county of Radnorshire, but you don’t have to drive far out of town to be in wonderful scenery, the roads take you around the Elan reservoirs or you can take the scenic drive to Aberystwyth.

The road you were on is the Mountain Road from Rhayader to Devil's Bridge. I live off that beautiful road. It's worth travelling the whole length for another video.

My Granddad worked at the Elan Valley.

@@NessandAndy no he worked at the water beds controlling the water. My Grandparents lived in Rhayader, i saw the archway they went through to their house on West Street. My Dad did the buttressing on the Clywedog Dam.

@@janowen6953 Beautiful area we love driving around there and around the Clywedog area never as busy as the Snowdonia area but just as beautiful in its own way 😊
