We made it to Notch Point - and I can finally stop hearing about it from Mitch! He has been as giddy as a kid on Christmas to camp at this beautiful free beach camp, which is (of course) dog friendly. And Queensland really did turn it on for us.
Also known as Yarrawonga Park Reserve, Notch Point is just out of Ilbilbie; 90 km South of Mackay, along the Queensland East Coast. After enduring a few days of rough winds we were thankful for a bit of reprieve. While we didn't see any crocs (or catch any fish) we still had a blast and we hope you did as well.
