Sitting here crying with you, I’m also currently pregnant (via IVF) and I just know how grateful you are feeling but also how that journey still weighs heavy on you. Infertility is not talked about enough, particularly offline. Congratulations to you both, you will be such wonderful parents ❤️

I too want to congratulate you and your husband 🎉🎉🎉.I too found out I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter after losing our 2nd son in a missed miscarriage which required surgery. Anyways I personally also feel your grief and happiness and excitement. I took my pregnancy test on Mother’s Day May 12th,2002 after being sick all day, migraine 2 days before, and just thinking maybe this is pregnancy.You should have seen me screaming in the drugstore restroom after taking my pregnancy test there rather than home, I literally ran back into the store waving that pregnancy stick around shouting, “It worked, I'm pregnant, happiness Mother’s Day to me🎉🥰!!!” So I will be praying for your family, by the way our daughter turns 22 on January 11th, 2025. Massive congratulations Poppy! I for years struggled to get pregnant and have endometriosis so in the end felt like I just gave up, I remember looking at my friends and family members and random people I went to school with and thought ‘oh well they haven’t had a baby yet either’ and slowly those people started having babies and I honestly felt like I’d be the only one to never be a mum, the feeling was just awful, Me and my husband then gave up for a bit and then by some strange miracle we fell pregnant naturally when we weren’t even trying, now we have twins who are 2 next month, madness. You will be the most incredible mummy ❤️

I’ve heard that happen for so many people. Why is it that people fall pregnant only when they stop trying. After going through so much heartache. It’s so frustrating.

@@shabanabegum24 It can of course be for so many reasons but the pressure of wanting kids and not being able to will create stress which affects your hormones. I think that might be it! When you are relaxed there are more chances of everything to be more balanced out. But it is frustrating as it is a vicious cicle. :(

i’m 21 and my mom did several rounds of failed IVF before she had my brother, then had me naturally about 18 months later at the age of 42, nearly 43. i’ve heard so many stories from my mom about how long and strenuous the process was (time, cost, worry, etc) and i appreciate everything she did for me to be here. wishing you luck!!!

I know the feeling of being happy to feel sick. Any days I felt “good” in my first trimester, I was filled with dread. The days I was sick I was so grateful. thank you for this. I'm going through this right now, its been over a year and a half of fertility treatments, and seeing your pregnancy made me cry. Its hard to see many pregnancy announcements right now, but this has been such a joyful celebration for me. You both did it, congratulations, and sending so much love

My husband and I were in the processing of starting IVF when we found out we were pregnant. After 1 loss and 1 ectopic pregnancy our daughter is now 5 months! So happy for you both! Blessings to you and Sean ❤

As hard as you tried not to be emotional, I too was trying not to cry alongside you. I went through 4 1/2 years of infertility myself. Going through 2 IUI treatments, and just prior to going in for our 3rd IUI found out we had conceived naturally. After such a struggle for so many years it’s so overwhelming and wonderful when it happens for you. All the best and so much love, you will be the most loving and beautiful mother. ♥️

We had unexplained fertility for over 2 years, and were just about to start our IVF journey, when 5 days after booking consultation, I found out I was pregnant for the first time ever. Still pinching myself as my 2 year old daughter is currently asleep upstairs. Your video brought it all back. Wishing you all the very best for your pregnancy xx

Oh Poppy, I’m so so happy for you guys ❤ we welcomed our little girl into the world after 3 years of difficulties, similar to your story. To fall pregnant naturally in the end felt like the biggest shock in the world. I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it haha. It’s a gratitude like none other. I had an aversion to the downstairs of my house too! I’ve never heard anyone else with it! I used to walk in my front down and throw up on the doorstep at the smell. So happy for you! We had 6 losses but now have 3 beautiful children. Massive congratulations xx

Oh my gosh to go through all of that and to then catch naturally must be the most bitter sweet feeling in the world. I’m so sorry you guys have had such a hard ttc journey. Also I just wanna say what a fantastic job you’re doing at just listening to your body. I really should have been much kinder to myself in pregnancy. My symptoms were so severe with sickness and tiredness etc and I just sorta forced myself to crack on and when I look back now I really regret not just sitting with the feelings and symptoms and allowing myself to actually be pregnant, if that makes sense x

So happy for you, it truely is the most stressful experiencing infertility - currently 20 months into our TTC journey and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. Two early miscarriages and periods disappearing for 9 months, and no answers except doctors saying there shouldn't be any issue and to keep trying. Watching the months go by is so hard.

Congratulations! We welcomed our little girl in March with our second fresh transfer with IVF. We had been doing procedures for my fertility since 2020 and had a loss with our first fresh transfer. I pray that everything goes well for you and that your daughter is as healthy as can be! x

No one understands the pain unless they have been through it, I'm currently watching this while my ivf miracle boy and rainbow girl sleep upstairs ❤❤❤ your story is exactly why you should never ask people when they are going to have babies as you never know what someone is going through 😢

IVF mama here too! Took us 4.5 years to have our son too with failed transfers and a miscarriage. To know that Ottie and Novie were born during your struggles is a testament to you and Sean at how strong you both are. Sending so much love to you and your little family x

Poppy I'm very happy for you both❤ my daughter inlaw is getting an embryo transfer next week in Athens the work they have put into this the medication my daughter inlaw is having to take the massive cost and the desperation to have a baby is overwhelming....im praying so hard for them that after 6 years of trying they are blessed with a baby ❤

Congratulations! I am so so sorry you have been through what you have. Pregnancy tiredness is something else, it’s awful but when you have little one that exhaustion of pregnancy does disappear. Sending so much love xx

Oh Poppy I'm so happy for you, it sounds like you've been through a really rough time to get to where you are now and the way you carry yourself you would never of been able to tell. You are going to smash motherhood and your little girl will be so loved 💖 Also I absolutely understand you when you said you had a aversion to your downstairs, I was the same with my kitchen, the thought of it made me feel sick, no idea why and it cost us a lot of money in takeaways 😂
