I think the problem with any genre, any stream long-term, games don't stay consistent enough, especially live service games. Devs take far too many liberties with game systems and rework major components of games, simply because there's an update or seasonal reset. D4 is a prime example: how is a player supposed to build an audience around reporting news that they can't play this season because something fundamentally changed about the game, removing their ability to work toward one or more goals they previously had. Steam concurrents for D4: 5-7k.
@@sunderland69 to each their own, I think he's just annoying and over talks everyone and talks about pretty much nothing but himself, also don't think he has nearly as good of chemistry w emi and asmon as this guy does
@@CyberPimp_TTV he doesnt talk about himself because its about him though. he has bad ADHD and its obvious so he blurts out his trains of thought before he forgets them and he relates to people by sharing his experiences instead. really common and you are just acting like a dickhead
Esfand, I remember when you were part of the Nostalrius movement and were streaming on youtube pre 2019. But, dude... You are doing amazing! Your path/arc has been legendary! Kudos and great job on the weight loss!
I don't use the dislike extension for disliking things myself, i use it because the like to dislike ratio is a great indicator of whether tutorials or informational videos are worth the time or not. You can't trust the comments because creators can delete or filter them.
I don't get it or did I sleep through some of their explanations? I mean I have never downloaded or looked at the extension, does that mean that my dislikes never counted? Does one have to have the extension to dislike? That isn't how anyone has said that it works before, and it sounds really strange considering that the button is still there and YT still the amount tracks it.
@@Ewil.Bluetooth Without the extension, only the video's creator can see the dislikes. With the extension, your dislikes get duplicated to the extension owner's server, and then used for statistical analysis to guesstimate the actual amount of dislikes on the video. (skewed by the demographic of people who install such browser extensions! but when you're one of those people, that just makes the dislike ratio more applicable to you :D )
Esfand is looking fucking awesome. I didn't even know that he was on a weight loss journey, but he's made incredible progress. You go, dude! Also I love how non-aggressive and more chill the dialogue is when Tectone isn't around. The energy is so noticeably different when he's not around, haha.
No different than any other generation. 15 years ago the media message was Millennials will never own a home. Today 55% of them do. Next was Zoomers will never own a home, and their generation has a higher home ownership percentage at their current age than Millennials or Gen X did.
The problem is most millennials COULD afford a home, just not the home they WANT. Sorry millennials, you first home probably won't be in the same neighborhood as your parents. But that doesn't mean u can't afford a home
The topics actually went deeper than surface level which was nice. We didn't get a one "GUYS WOULD YOU TORTURE SOMEONE FOR A BILLION DOLLARS??!?!" "GUYS IF YOU WERE PRESIDENT, WHAT WOULD YOU DO"
Yeah I mean Miz house had so much negative shit happen it affected everyone in that house. So moving definitely helped mentally atleast. Now all that left is Miz to get out of there too!
@@robertchandler2063 I find this... a little odd. Our opinions, both yours and mine are NOT relevant to whatever relationship Emiru and Tectone have. They're both grown adults and can deal with problems they have between each other if they even exist. I also find it weird you're speaking for Emiru? Like... I don't wanna call you a "white knight" or something but, let's just say imo, Emiru seems like a more or less responsible functioning adult... in other words she can make her own decisions. Ain't nobody strong enough to get Emiru to do something she doesn't want I don't think.
as a graduated statistician working as a data analyst, i'm always surprised on how much asmon knows about statistics, his explanation on the algorithm that estimates the dislikes on the video is actualy very acurate, and yes the sample size has a HUGE influence on the precision of the algorithm, specialy because of the point that esfand said that people who uses the extension are probably more inclined to already have a diferent behaviour than people who doesn't use it, this type of bias is very well known and a big problem on sampling and survey planning
Yeah, I must imagine he has to atleast know a bit of Statictical Math due to him mentioning multiple times that he used to work on ISR. Granted, that might not require that kind of knowledge at all but in this case it seem plausible.
In the United States a lot of students learn statistics in high school. I took finite mathematics in 11th grade and took it again at Indiana University my first year. The curriculum was the same as what we learned in high school. Math is a requirement to graduate high school in Texas, Zach graduated high school, he's not that retarded lol.
He chooses to have the dumbest takes on situations because that gets him more views on RU-vid which equals $. If he chose the same opinion as everyone else, his views would suffer.
@@CxClips He says things to be clipped out of context, rarely whole takes. You probably like to believe this because you can't just accept disagreeing with him, most his chat are braindead like that. Asmon is usually right.
Great ep guys, as per usual. Loved the flow of the conversation on this one, very comfy. Interesting to listen to Esfand's perspective on RP, and how he feels like he has to do everything on a game before he can move on. The coolest thing about RP imo is that it connects lots of different communities together, and esfand is great at turning these connections into content. Always nice to listen to an episode where Emi talks a lot too. Very wholesome, keep it up guys.
30:58 depending on the sample size it’s likely reasonably accurate at least within 15% + or - of the actual value. I’d really like the creator of the extension to come out with how the calculations are done and the sample size for the video.
I feel like the only people who download this are people that dislike a lot of videos. Like I could be wrong but I’m willing to bet that is the primary audience. I have a feeling that might skew the data just a bit.
@@KevinMCablewell, you are wrong, it was pretty popular and even promoted by some famous youtubers when dislikes were disapiring, often with the argumentation that it will show you when vide is a scam, and let people look how videos are reciver
42:00. That's like me. I grew up in and around cities my whole life and then kind of downgraded, from a city to like a small town, And now I'm in the process of moving into a house, that's kind of in the middle of nowhere, but not really, it's still 20- 30 minutes away from anything, but you still get the feeling of, you're secluded in the woods on a pond, nice quiet area, Your own land. I mean living in cities and towns. It's nice, but it can kinda get old. And there's only so much you can do. And the best part about the new space I have, it'll actually give me options to do more of what I wanna do. I'd love to start a RU-vid channel too.
No matter how complicated the game looks an amazing commentator can break it down for the viewer and it makes all the difference. Commentators make tournaments. The energy, the hype, the piecing together of information that is digestible for a non-pro gamer viewer made a lot of fond memories in their respective game's community.
It always takes me off guard how Asmon, the Prime Goblin ™️, can be razor sharp when he gets going about IRL stuff that he actually knows something about.
I love how ESports fans are going through the same pain that we have felt before when they started restricting and getting rid of celebrations in the NFL! hahaha
Oh thank God, I'm having the worst day. I've lost all my will to live, but I forgot it was Friday and I really like esfand, so I should be able to hang in there. For another hour and 11 minutes, at least
It’s gonna be okay! I’ve had some rough days recently too, honestly it’s not always as simple as “it’ll get better eventually” but keep giving yourself a chance and when you can make things better you will feel better knowing that you were able to fight through it and hopefully learned something and made yourself better in the process
@@whochangedthis8485 oh, well everything but i'm joking. atm i'm mostly just frustrated that people on the internet are dumb. and you might say thats obvious. Like "well, duh", right? Of course it is. Really, I probably shouldnt be as invested in this today, or iI just need to vent a bit. Thats the tldr, feel free to skip the rest. But whats getting to me are all the comment frogs on all social media, flinging around muck and insults when they get invested into an issue, but not really adding anything to it. the ones who brigade or campaign for a position, and swarm to a channel because someone criticized a cause they've decided to make their whole identity for a week. happens all the time, obviously. especially in politics and games, so god help us when those two topics meet up on an issue that people have been complaining about in video games. like when asmon addressed @piratesoftware, and every gamer everywhere was like "this guy worked for blizzard, his opinion is shit" after listening to a 15 second clip
Esfand really carried this video and he wasnt annoying with it like when tec carries. Emi and Asmon are actually stuck in neutral but thats why they are.
