Quincy Wilson's stride-length-to-height ratio must be off the charts! The times he puts up at only 16 years old are insane! It will be interesting to see how he develops....could be a future 400 meter World Record Holder.
The only problem is usually very good high school runners don't improve that much after high school. Usually an unknown athlete who was good in high school is the one who raises to the top.
@@trinidadrodriquez876 I'M WILLING TO BET YOU THAT CHINESE KID HAS BEEN SHOT UP WITH ILLEGAL PERFORMANCE DRUGS. THEY WILL GIVE THE CHINESE A BREAK ON THAT; BUT NOT A US ATHLETE
The U.S. Men's 4x100 is tricky....It would be tough not to go with 1st leg Christian Coleman (best starter ever?), 2nd Leg Lindsey or Bednarek (both smoked their legs and Lindsey has been crushing it in every distance this year), 3rd Leg Erriyon Knighton (runs the curve great), 4th Leg Noah Lyles (arguably the best sprinter in the world right now). I can't see anyone beating that team.
@@malax4013 here's another wrinkle for you....What if Fred Kerley starts dropping some amazing times again? Then, you have to consider inserting him for Kung Fu Kenny or Lindsey, both of which are consistently running great recently.
@@dr.options Im not sure what the best team would be but im quite sure coleman, knighton , lyles in the team for sure. Coleman first leg runnin around 90m and probably knighton on 3rd in the corner. Lyles would probably be best on 2nd to get long run and try to beat national record.🤔 Not sure who would the last runner because USA has crazy talent pool for 100m at the moment. You could pick any1 from top 10 and they would be OK.
We would've smoked Botswana too but that would've been greedy. Call it Foreign Aid. lol What I most enjoy is how we send a different team to every relay every year and still Gold. Hard work, dedication. I feel bad for Poland in the women's 4x1 though. Love watching Swoboda's form.
WA - For the love of God, pls keep talented athlete Dafne Schippers a mile away from commentary :) Rhasidat Adeleke (48.45) in her 3rd race of the meet making Klaver (49.80) look ordinary was scary! So disappointed we didn't get the BOT vs USA M4x4 showdown :( Would be nice to see Syd jump into a couple more 200m races this season & finally run a wind-legal sub 22s that she's clearly capable of!
@@stevenmiller6725 USA did make the final (actually won their heat). Then it was realized Champion Allison had changed lanes prior to the baton exchange (something you can't do), so they were disqualified.
@@stevenmiller6725 They made the final but for their technical mistake. Either way, the only thing they lost out on was the badge/trophy of winning at the relays here. They still qualified a team to the Olympics.
Fahnbulleh running people down like Bob Hayes used to is a fucking marvellous thing to watch, he might be the best person in the world to have on the 4th leg of a relay team since Usain Bolt, I bet that last 50m split was around 4.2-4.5 seconds hes done it before
@@braddfordy full 100m split is hard to measure Bolt ran 8.6, so did Bob Hayes in 1964 I know Lyles went well under 9 seconds for a split but Fahnbulleh has recorded an 8.8 split before too and given that he is a fair bit off Lyles in regular races his relay split pace is even more impressive, its like seeing a deficit he needs to make up gives him an extra gear
Awesome video!! I’m soo hyped for the doha jump fest! Do you know it is organised by Barshim himself? Furthermore, great vid as always! Do you plan on making more videos next to the weekly updates?
Im actually working and pumping these vids now. So its hard doing these while trying to juggle all the things i enjoy doing haha. Perhaps if it becomes full time some day, otherwise off season will be for creative projects ;)
America should be winning everything... Their large population size means a larger chance for talent, with the best facilities and best opportunities in the world to nurture that talent. They should dominate every sport.
Here’s food for thought… if black people are naturally faster at sprints, why are there always faster white sprinters than the African sprinters?? I don’t mean this racially. I ran track for years. Black Americans and Jamaicans rule the sport. But why not Africans??
Woah hot take title let the jamaican women continue to prosper against the American women. The jamaican men suck , but one thing is for sure nobody is touching bolt blake or Powells times. Heck the only close people was bromell and Coleman and that was in comparison to Gatlin. Best American sprinter will probably been lyles and gay. I am rooting for Knighton but other than that go JAMAICA(females) 4 by 1 world record for shelly before she retires
China and India have a much bigger population than USA and they are nowhere near us in Track and Field. It’s not so much about population but training and good genetics. High school and middle school sports also helps a lot with raising good athletes.
