Some have looked into our relationship believing lies that we have no idea where they came from, others believe the best about us! Chelsea has made videos on this channel for years starting in the beauty world and now venturing into the lifestyle/advice/family world. They both spend most of their time writing, capturing photos, and planning content around the issues that young adults face. They both have a podcast as well that calls out issues in culture, real life struggles, and fun times most of us go through like getting married or graduating school! After you explained how Nick didn't know how to act on camera it totally made sense on why people would assume these bad things, as he was very serious when he first came on. You can defiantly see the growth hes had on camera and you can see how sweet of you guys are. Its great how you talk about these "taboo" topics and educate people

Unfortunately people like that hurt others, because they think that it'll probably heal them from their pain. That's sad! The best thing is to continue putting our eyes in Christ and move ahead! Something I have been struggling with is that I feel like everyone around me is getting married (especially since Christian girls get married really young around here) and having these beautiful fairytale lives while I'm here, still single and never having been in a relationship and men usually running the other way when they see me. it just sucks looking at other people and wondering, what if by the time God wants me to get married, my husband is already taken? Or having other intrusive thoughts like "Why does God love these other women more than me?" Idk what I'm trying to say, my heart is just aching and I wanted to get this out to see if anyone else feels the same way. Can someone give me advice from a Christian perspective?

psalm 84:11- “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” lamentations 3:1- There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. psalm 32:7- You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. hi there! here are some verses for encouragement. i definitely understand how you feel as almost all of my friends are either engaged or in a relationship. i used to be so mad and think that i was not good looking or worthy of love that people around me had. my advice to you is to change your perspective! you may think that you will never get married or that people are running from you, but this could be a season where God is preserving you, maturing you and preparing you for the right person to come! start to thank God and press into your relationship with Him. when you are so engaged in the presence of God, you may start even forgetting that you are single! i’m not saying it will no longer be hard because trust me, those couple holidays are hard, but at least God will be with you through them. i’m praying for you!! 🤍

Remember that Gods will is best and will work out. If God wants you with a particular man, you will be with that man in HIS timing. If Gods plan is for you to get married then you will. You don’t have to worry about if the guy is already taken because God has a plan. I know it’s hard when you are only looking at your struggles. You have your puzzle piece in your hand and that’s all you can see. But God sees the entire puzzle and sees exactly how and when your piece is going to be put into the puzzle to make it whole. My best advice would be to be in Gods word daily. Grow your relationship with him. Spend as much time as possible with Him; in his word, in prayer, in worship, in church, etc. When you are focused on the world and what you want from God it will be extremely difficult. When you focus on God and what all he has already done for you, you become content no matter what happens because you remember that in the end God works for those who love him and his plan and timing are perfect. Don’t loose hope. Trust God, follow him, and everything will fall into place just how God wants it to.

Hey Sara!! I want to encourage you that although it looks like everyone is getting married and in a different season, God has you here for a unique purpose. There’s so much you can teach others as a single even if you won’t be forever! Also, men do not fix our souls. As much as it’s nice to be married and have companionship, Christ at the end of the day is the only one that can fill the holes in my heart and same with you! We have God sized holes that can’t be fixed by other humans. My husband fails me at times and I do for him as well. That doesn’t change because you get married - the best advice I got before I met Nick was to let go and love to be single. A lot of women have stories of finally being content.. and THEN a while after God put a man in their path. You won’t be any more whole with a man, but if it’s God’s plan over your life (he knows your desires more than you do) he will bring one! ❤️ Love you sis you got this

I think "a woman should submit to her husband as her husband submits to God" is somewhat of a dangerous narrative to put out to young women. A man and a woman should submit to each other as equals, under God (or whatever align with their beliefs). This is not hate I just think the choice of words when discussing the submissive culture of the "feminine counterpart" needs to be particularly careful, as you are influencing many women that are likely to marry.

Anne, in the part I did not understand what submission means and I was very against it, I think we need to look at what submit actually means and that is where men and woman miss it. I think it's important for woman to understand what it means to submit biblically submit, I think woman don't know and see it as a bad thing, but some men take it to another level. This is where love comes in, the love of GOD comes in also. Men that expert submission but don't know how to causes issues, woman that have a weird notion of submission paint it very badly. So basically I'm saying knowledge is key, people need to do what the Bible says and not what they think it is.

hey there, you're doing a wonderful job walking this thin line between public authenticity one one hand and hold the most intimate things where they belong.... one really minor thing for you though: keep your dog out of the bed (not because you don't love him) for hygienic reasons... especially once your baby is born, you will need to provide a safe and dog-clean area... (I am not a dog hater, I just tell you this from my own personal experience) - be blessed as a couple and a young family, you are truly displaying God's favor upon a believer's household - keep going!

I’m 22 and when I was 15-16 I was always marriage minded, I was told I’m too young and I mean at 15-16 hormones are raging and I was so deterred from getting married I went in the other direction. I was a believer I trusted in Christ but I didn’t have a family or A church community that supported my beliefs so I fell by the wayside and now I feel I don’t deserve a righteous man (and that’s okay) but I am a good woman who put in the work, and even though I’m a believer who loves scripture I find it hard to date in churches because people aren’t that nice and I feel ostracized but I never was a club goer and so I feel isolated but I have put in the work to heal and grow as a person and need direction

What people don'g understand is that when you find things challenging as a couple and things "get hard"... you're actually growing closer together because you're understanding eachothers needs and becoming more emotionally intimate rather then "falling apart".
