The "insalata di riso" is supposed to be eaten cold in the italian tradition. And even the meat in gelatine. Those two plates were supposed to be eaten separately like a first dish and main course.
Yeah the portion is huge because in Italy meals are a big part of the day, sometimes you stay at a table for hours, and it’s just tradition. There is a lot because you can share with a friend or maybe eat it slowly while you chat with someone
As an italian i have the job to tell you this information; in italy breakfast is usually really light so we don't eat much, also you were supposed to drink the cappucino instead of the tea, and you were supposed to eat the pasta e fagioli (the lunch) without the meat, same thing with the rice, that you needed to eat cold and not hot. I don't mean to hate, i just wanted to point this info out, continue with the amazing videos!
I’m glad you weren’t robbed by any humans or put at gunpoint. That fox was probably frightened by that object in front of its den, so it wanted to get rid of it.
after the camera stopped recording later in the video i think what happened is the fox bit through the cable and was dragging by two halves of the cable and later the cable disconnected from the camera so he didn't drag it further and even later he bit through the cable at the plug on the power bank and then tried to move it by grabbing it directly(that's why there are teeth marks) and moving it even further but that didn't work because the power bank was slippery and it slipped out (sorry if my english is bad)
3:34= it's actually soup with pasta and beans 4:03= yeah, you're actually supposed to eat that cold and without mixing it. 6:37= I love your accent, but you have to eat it cold too.
The Italian MRE is called "Razione K" and you are trying Module B (there is one per each day of the week), which is an odd one. All dishes are clearly explained on the back, also in English, and typically listed in sequence. In this module, the BREAKFAST consists of a cappuccino or tea, and a cereal bar. Oddly, this section includes some apricot jam without any sweet cracker or bisquit... and also a portion of spirit/liqueur. You may add the spirit to your tea if it's a freezing morning... or just keep it for later in the day. You may also keep the tea for an afternoon tea. LUNCH includes the thick loved&hated bean'n'pasta soup (to be warmed up) and THEN you'll have the second dish of turkey meat in jelly, to be eaten cold with some crackers. To finish, you'll have canned fruit and last but not least, Italians can't end a meal without a strong "espresso". Just use a very small amount of water. I'm pretty sure, picky Italian soldiers would hide a small espresso moka maker and real ground coffee to use with their portable stove... DINNER time includes the infamous rice salad (to be served cold) followed by another cold dish of "beef medallions", again in jelly. And another espresso to end the meal. An energy bar is also available, probably for some afternoon snack. Oddly, in this MRE , rice salat is a typical summer dish and bean soup is a typical winter dish. Meat comes twice a day, which is a generous offering All these items are canned by leading food companies, not packed in sachets as opposed to other MRE, and can be found at any supermarket... including Ristora, a leading brand for instant coffee, tea, milk, etc often used by hotels. You can easily recreate your very own personal MRE for your hiking experience in the Italian hills. But for regular meals, Italians would only buy canned jelly meat (leading brands are Simmenthal, Montana and Manzotin), whereas rice salad or bean soup are rigorously made at home! You may watch some YT videos 😛 BUON APPETITO!! PS: in Kabul, at a charity lunch made of donated MREs, the Italian food won the first place, followed by France and Germany. US could not compete, since US MRE can't be given away.
In Italy, eating food and sitting and eating at a table/eating for a long time is like a tradition, so in the MREs they put all of that stuff to cater to their traditions.
Yes as said in other comments meat that is "in gelatina" means that is prepared in a meat fat soup that when becomes cold solidifies so it's good to be eaten cold. Also insalata di riso is supposed to be eaten cold, it's a typical summer dish here in Italy
Maybe you could do a review on different trail cameras, the ones you attach to trees to spot wildlife. I would love to know the best one and the cheapest one from AliExpress.
@@pxstelkeebs4624 Then it's not English. Like _Most of my words, but not all, will be English._ It's not a big deal though. He should just be told his mistake so he can learn. English should, after all, be English.
I wouldn't give it to the animals out, I'll probably keep the leftover meat pasta in the previous can for lunch so that u don't have to open the porridge. By the way, I wonder if you brought Kuki with you during camping?
OMGGGGGG I LOVE THE NEW INTRO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH
You definitely don't need a pan because you heat up content directly in the closed cans on fire (not suggested for rice salad)... so you don't release detectable smells, when inside it is hot the lids tend to deform, you open and eat directly in the can. The empty cans, of course, can be used for other purposes like sound signal traps and so on; as the robust metal pouch containing all the ration can be used transporting or boiling drinkable water at a camp fire or as a pan to cook wild rabbits or other opportunistic catches. Some tablets are vitamins some other are bran tablets... because eating canned food for long times can cause constipation.
Foxes are extremely curious and are happy to steal things that have not been seen before and investigate and play with them. it may have smelled some food from it. A friend of mine have a fox around his house now and then. The fox steal all the dogtoys in his yard. And the dog happily whent around go find them again.
The fox probably attacked the camera from the side. It'd be dumb to attack an unknown creature head-on. Then it would've grabbed the cord and carried off the prey. The cable would've popped out of the camera eventually from the weight. Once the fox figures out it's not edible, it would leave it alone. Some animals turn found objects into toys.
3:57 its as we call it maalais hyytelö but its uum kind of meet jelly or jello so and you are not suposed to cook it just spred it to like bread or something or it seems like maalais hyytelö so idmo
To inform you OCD is not were you Don't like random things that poke around or are uneven its a mental disorder you don't want, so learn the true meaning of the words you are saying
As an Italian all I can say very Italian meal the cordial you make a black coffee and add with suger . Heaven . Or as we say Caffe alpina more cordial then water and lots of sugar.makes it worth while when cold heaven....
simple, the fox was confused and try to.. investigate what the camera was so it dragged the camera 50 meters away until the cables snaps off and the power bank.. it dragged it off 100 meters away.. for some reason
AAAAAAAAAA YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT THAT MEAT TOGHETER WITH PASTA!!! AND YOU ALSO HEATED THE "INSALATA DI RISO"!!! You NEVER do that, the insalata must be eaten cold! My Italian heart is having a stroke...
@@beauxcrook9706 Because if you them "wrong" they taste like shit. I know that this kind of taste is familiar and appreciated by the rest of the world, but we're just trying to make you eat actual good food. Or maybe you're amongst those who eat pasta with ketchup thinking it tastes like real pasta with homemade tomato sauce?
