Now as far as the storm cellar for you guys you guys are going to want something that is probably going to be quick and easy to get access to in case the sun storms comes in that way you can protect yourself and the kids and you ain't got to go a long way to get to it!

OH THE SLAB LOOKS WONDERFUL, ALL YOUR ANIMALS ARE PRESCIOUS, I CAN TELL YOU LOVE THEM VERY MUCH , AND THEY FEEL YOUR LOVE FOR THEM. IN REGARDS TO THE CELLAR, NEAR ENOUGH TO THE HOUSE, SO YOU CAN GET IN IT ASAP. I PRAY NO TORNADOES BUT YOU CAN'T CONTROL MOTHER NATURE. BABY DONKEY IS GORGEOUS. The closer to the house the better. If it happens at night with little warning you don't want to run thru hail .

I like your idea of moving it over further in front of the hosts. I have always had a fear of getting stuck in one due to something falling on the door.

Make the storm cellar very convenient to a door to the house. Make it easy to get to from the house. Don't put it on a side of the house where there is no outside door. Seconds can count in the event of a tornado.

Hi Stephanie, I would put one of the above ground shelters. They sell them here in Joplin after the F5 Tornado because the people that had these in the tornado survived without a scratch. Personally I would want that cellar at easy access from house so faster to get to if you need to be in there quickly. You are doing a great job explaining the concrete curing and where all your rooms will be at. Exciting to see your house go up in to being a home. Thank you for a great share

Stephanie, if at all possible, please consider getting LVT flooring, or engineered hardwood, rather than carpet. So much easier to do it now rather than having to replace carpet down the road.

So happy this is finally happening! will the washer and dryer be open to the kitchen instead of the garage? I imagine you will put a mini split system in the garage for heat/air. It is all really, really HAPPENING! PRAISE GOD! Over 2 years in a travel home and then a small cabin, it has to be such a tremendous feeling the house will be here b-4 winter (even b-4 Thanksgiving 2024) would be even better. Yes, all of us subs and members are thrilled for and with you all. Radar is so precious. It hit 90* F. again here in west-central Minnesota---got a very short rumble of thunder and very minor rain this morning, so it feels humid to me. I hate heat and humidity. I love how all the attention you have paid to the animals has really made them so much more tame and willing to be petted and loved on. GOD BLESS and may HE continue to surround you with HIS BLESSINGS.
