I also recommend it, I work as a behaviorist for dogs (and cats) and I especially use the kennel (a rigid travel bag), a lot, because although to humans it seems like a cage for dogs and cats it reminds of the den with only one exit/entrance to control and they can relax. Of course you have to get Lacelot used to it, ask the puppy class's teacher! Love, Melissa ❤

I've used a carrier that's like a sewn crate for minidogs. No metal, very lightweight and you can zip down to mesh windows on front and sides at will. It's smart for outings in hotels and busy environments, if they first get used to it being their sacred space (never locked up in it for long). This mostly as tuny dogs need to have a place they don't have to deal with the movement of muktipke giant humans close to them. But I've had dogs of many kinds, and I don't believe in treating small digs differently than large ones as far as training and handling goes. Dogs don't beg if they aren't fed at the table. If they get used to sitting in your lap, they'll beg for that. Dogs carried around most of the time become insecure about their safety on the ground/floor. I see loads of mini-dog owners who clearly never trained dogs and let behavior slide that would be shocking for a larger dog, and that's really annoying and unfair to the dog as well. It's even dangerous when it comes to socializing with other dogs. If they're extremely rude, chances are higher some large dog who's not feeling at its best will correct it and inadvertently harm it. I'm glad to see they go to puppy school. It's very important, mostly to the humans to learn techniques and keep up the training at home. Consistency is the one word to focus on. Be consistent, and positive, and encourage calm and confident behavior. With tiny dogs it's good to have a doggy bed/donut or plush "cat cubby" for it in every room. Just so it knows where it can relax. It's good social training that Lancelot comes along on all outings, bravo! ❤

My lovely brother is always inviting us over for a BBQ but it's impossible to have an appetite as his 2 big dogs just slobber and demand food the entire time. It's really gross.

Absolutely, you aren’t fair to him as not everyone will tolerate dogs that near food.

We crate trained our new 1 yr old Bernese cat She’s does not get any food unless it’s on or in her crate So food is safe with no begging … or jumping up Our little dog waits on her bed till we tell her to come after we have eaten … These are good habits … you are the master of the pack … They love you more for it when they have a Routine and structure .. roughly we have the same food and bed time also for them both … ❤❤

My mom had a little Yorky and boy was he a bossy little thing. Uncompromising. Boundaries and training are so important! There are tons of videos on how to train a puppy from day one. It is possible to undo any bad habits you already started.

Lap dogs have always been a Chateau thing. I'm sure it's no issue really they probably just love having him near.

There are both at the Chateau. Natti was distracted for a moment, and one of the new fire extinguishers was put on a cloth wall in Stephanie's bedroom by the door. It is very ugly there and did damage. Stephanie also pointed out they went a little crazy with the number of units in the hallway because of the number of turns. ❤ So yes, they are covered.
