Join us for a family vlog, where we find out some exciting news we’ve waited 6 years for!
In this video, we share the latest updates on our lives as we continue to find our footing in this new chapter in beautiful Norfolk. Rupert has started nursery, and alongside that work is going well for us, paving the way for new opportunities.
Any guesses as to what the news is? Well, after six years of trying, Jamie has finally been accepted to run the prestigious London Marathon. It's a dream come true and he’s running for a cause that is very close to his heart. If you do have any spare change, you can show your support by visiting Jamie's JustGiving page.

But that's not all! We're excited to head on a family trip to Stamford next weekend, where we'll be viewing some potential houses. Fingers crossed we find our forever home, and we can't wait to share more updates with you soon.
In other news, the pregnancy is progressing well. We have started to feel the baby kick and Rupert has started talking to the baby and giving bump lots of kisses.

Oh Lord that child is cuteness overload. My husband had prostate cancer. His PSA was just barely over the high number but because it had changed quite a bit from to even that low, it indicated possible cancer. Luckily his doctor sent him for a biopsy. This was years ago and much has changed since then. Research was difficult at that time and we had to rely more on books than the internet which is not always a great place to look. Anyway, a great cause and important for men. Have a great week!

So glad for your Prostate Cancer run. My spouse sounds similar to Jamie's dad's journey with Prostate C. We had the surgery in 2013. PSA numbers started rising again this past year and just finished with the hormone and radiation journey.He runs in the American prostate cancer race"Zero Prostate" and we hope everyone gets tested and pursues treatment early if needed. Best of luck with your Charities.

Hello. Hello Roo is so amazing. My grandson was all with Blippe when he was little. Congratulations, for doing that run. When I live in Philadelphia. I used to ride my bike from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. For all Cancer bike rides. I used to do the breast cancer walks. It's good to see you both enjoying the summer weather with Roo. He's growing up so nicely and very smart. He looks so adorable in his jacket. Sending many blessings to you three.

its an amazing thing that you are doing jamie i know how you feel my dad prostate and bowel cancer he had surgery to remove them but he had a colostomy bag he was look to have not need anymore treatment but has the bag remove recently

Toddler talk is so adorable.. but British toddler talk is 100% more adorable! My how Rupert has grown. It seems like from the last few videos to this video he has grown into a little boy and no longer just a baby! Megan you are such a good mommy and Jamie good luck on your London marathon. I'm a very good cricket player. I'm a great catcher, too. Cricket is a very big thing in Guyana and London. I've seen many cricket matches. It's such a good came. My brothers are so addicted to the cricket match. When the game is on, they stay up all night watching the game. How can I donate.

UK Doctor here: just letting you know… PSA blood test is NOT in any way an accurate screening tool on its own. There are a lot of false positive and negative results. Patients DO need the ‘finger up the bottom’ test alongside this to see if the prostate feels unusual (hard, nodular etc). I don’t think we’d encounter many doctors (if any!) in the UK who would not advise a proper examination, so it’s prob worth revisiting the youtube message here. If the ‘finger test’ (DRE) is unusual, they get a 2 week urology referral irrelevant of the PSA level. Of course a patient can decline this finger test (as they can decline anything recommended) but we certainly wouldn’t advise this. They also need to do a urine sample to rule out blood, & a history needs to be taken for any symptoms they are experiencing. If anything is unusual, action will be taken. Ie. A PSA alone is not going to rule prostate cancer in or out. Massive well done on the marathon place tho & for raising awareness for this really important cause. Rooting for you for a sub 4 hours (but no pressure, just taking part is AMAZING!!)

Thank you for this information. Really appreciate you sharing with me. I'm very early in the journey of understanding it all, so hopefully I can share more accurate information going forward. Ultimately, I think we need to encourage people to get checked. We have one family friend who got a letter from their GP when they turned 50 to come in and get checked. Another friend asked to be checked and that GP said no, not unless he has symptoms. Seems very strange not to check more elderly people. So, are you saying that a PSA test isn't a good initial test? Thanks again for the info

That’s interesting. We are in the US and our doctor no longer does the finger test. Not sure if it’s an insurance thing or what but that is disturbing.
