We adopted a feral kitten ❤️ 

I tamed a feral cat. She finally became a lap cat, and let me hold her. She passed in October at 18. Im devestated, and i miss her everyday. Thank you for adopting this sweet baby. Every kitty deserves a loving chance! 🐈❤️

You've given me hope with our feral cat. He's been extremely close to me since day one, but still doesn't like to be held. He found us when he was 7 months old & he turns two years old in April. He's a Snowshoe with "a bit more Siamese in him," as our vet has said.

It's the heart to heart connection. I adopted a feral kitten rescued from the streets that feared any contact but as soon as I held him to my chest he completely relaxed and since then is with me 24/7.

What a gorgeous kitty. So glad you were able to connect with him and now he’s family. We adopted 3 feral cats. It took a lot of work to get them used to being indoors and us but we worked with them everyday. First using a soft bath brush to touch them with then eventually to petting & playing. Now it’ll be 5 years next month and they love cuddles & rubs, follow us around everyday and are just lovely to have them with us.

I cared for a grown feral several years ago & he was so afraid it took 2 years before we touched. I feed him twice a day & put a house out for him, two years in one day hie touched me with his tail & so I tentatively touch him little by little he got more pets after a very short time Homer (his name) he wanted pets & love before he wanted to eat. He was a wonderful little man. He got very ill so not to stress him I had a vet come to my home. He was old by this time & was going downhill. The vet said he didn’t have a lot of time & I didn’t want him to suffer, I held him in my arms as he was released. Patients is always needed in feral cats, but even a grown one will let you in if you show them only kindness, patience & love.

I'm 5 months late to this.....But I still love it. Your love and warmth towards animals is always wonderful to see 💪😁💪

My cat was from a farm and wild. We forced affection on him; he would purr but would try to get away at the same time. Today, he is a hunting cat. He goes out most nights when warm and brings back his kill. He loves the love and comes to cuddle.

This is wild, I just rescued the same beautiful Siamese cat from outside of an apartment complex one week ago. Her name is Luna.She's around 8wks old and finally a few days ago she decided to stop hiding and is letting me love on her and yes, she loves stringy things and to be carried around. She's my first cat. Never thought I would love them as much as I do dogs but she has truly stolen my heart❤

I adopted a tortie-siamese from a shelter. She had a crooked tail, so not worth selling (it's an "undesirable" trait). It took us 2 years of slowly loving her until we won her over! Sooooo worth it!❤❤❤

In my history of rescuing cats, I've never had problems working with ferel kittens. They are still rather young and can still imprint on you. Adults are significantly harder but I even had success with them, to a degree.

Our cat was not feral but does not like being picked up. He gets on a lap when he feels like it.

Funnily enough, I found a feral kitten years ago and she was exactly the same. She not only liked to be held, and closely, but she talked!! When I was on the phone, she thought I was speaking with her and would thus respond. Quite often people would ask if I needed to go and tend my baby.

Same thing happened with a little tuxedo.Pharaoh that ended up in my New York City apartment door a neighbor thought it was my cat.And couple of days of a little back-and-forth, but she plays facts.She comes to me when I call her.I told her to get up on my shoulders so she can look out the window.It's amazing

I grew up in the 60’s & 70’s with Siamese cats. They are so wonderful and I wish I could find them now but they are not as popular as back then. Have moved on to ginger kitties.

Siamese are such social cats that they can often be domesticated when feral. You just have to catch them young. They really do get attached to their peeps. We found three feral Siamese mix kittens. We domesticated completely two of them and kept the one who still hissed, cuz she loved to be petted and scratched. She just always hissed as we would start the petting sessions. But she wanted them to go on almost forever and purred very loudly while we petted her. She didn’t like being held like our other cats but most cats don’t care for being held. Often Siamese like to be cradled like a baby. I think it’s cuz they like to see your face but I’m not sure. Most of our Siamese cats enjoyed that position the best. My current Siamese who was a four year old adult rescue loves to be held like that only when I’m lying down. Then she asks for it. But not if I’m sitting or standing. Cats are so funny. Glad your baby warmed up and that you could give him a home.

We are trying to win one over ourselves right now. She won't let us touch her, but will try to play with our toes and even bats at our fingers, but runs. She did walk all over me this morning when I didn't get up to feed her. 😂 We do have an older cat she plays with. 😊

Omg i adapted a kitten from the streets and looks just like yours. 😮 I catch her when she was 3 weeks old. The mother appeared to abandon her and the siblings was taken by the neighbor and she was the last one. To my knowledge she is the only survivor.
